Massive tank dude great bike I have one. But the tanks only let down but putting bigger tank changes the look completely I think?

Only change the tank, when take long trips :)

Great looking bike that..! Nice to hear it getting stretched out some.. I guess that’s a standard sportster tank - not the peanut thing. Is the tank lifted too?
@ridingdigital4 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy, not a standard tank, I've switched the 2.1g to a 3.3g for the extra capacity but kept the peanut shape. No lift either, considering it but think it might look a bit lardy with the bigger tank. Might just tuck the wires and lose the plastic under the tank instead

I’m thinking of a Sportster as my first “big” bike after passing full test what do you reckon?
@ridingdigital6 жыл бұрын
I think a Sportster could be a great first bike. It's great fun and has a good chunk of manageable power. Good luck!

Good video. Thanks for posting. How do you find the bike over long distances? Have you got a larger tank on it?
@ridingdigital7 жыл бұрын
+CrazyCases Thanks for watching. I've upgraded to a 3.3 gal tank which gets me 120 miles between fills. It's not bad on long rides, especially given the flat drag bars. Need a break every 70 miles or so though! RD

Curious as to how comfortable that custom seat is on long rides like this one
@ridingdigital4 жыл бұрын
it's pretty good, theres a decent amount of padding and my shoulders usually ache first! Generally I'd ride for around an hour and a half between pitstops and the seat's comfy.

I absolutely love your bike! I don't know if you already mentioned it in one of your videos, but do you have a clue how much you spent on this bike in total (including buying the bike itself)? Would appreciate your answers, I'm thinking of buying a forty-eight myself... Thanks!

Thank a lot dude. Great shout on the costs, funnily enough I've just published a speed review video of the customization and I do give most of the costs of the parts - but it's on the list to make a full costs video, I'll need to go back through a few years of receipts! Nice gloves, are they good for the vibration of the handler bar? Which brand and model are they? Thanks
@ridingdigital6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, they look great, but thin on the palms (worn through the fingers in 2 years), doesn't do much for the vibration! they are Dainese X-Run gloves.

What fuel tank is that from?
@ridingdigital5 жыл бұрын
it's a 3.3gal custom chrome tank, same shape as the 3.3g iron tank

Riding digital would you recommend a Harley Sportster for a beginners bike ?
@ridingdigital5 жыл бұрын
Hey - It's good for new riders because the power is manageable and being low to the ground makes it easier to handle. On the flip side the suspension is rock hard which can make riding fast over rough roads a bit hairy, and the fat front tyre makes cornering a little harder. All bikes will have pros and cons but I think the most important thing is if you like the bike, and don't push yourself more than your comfortable with 👍🏻
