I have a 2008 Nightster and it has a alarm system, but no sound. Do I have to buy the alarm speaker to get that chirp sound (and alarm sound when triggered)?

I had the same issue and experimented with a few solutions. The problem is the bracket that holds the Jiffy stand into the bike frame. It gets deformed over time, changing the spring with a new one did not help in my case. Thus, I found that a better option is to glue or weld a washer on the Jiffy stand part that moves to be just under the sensor then the kickstand is up. I used superglue on mine and so far so good (I should weld it and paint it black just like my kickstand stick when i get a chance). This is better than overriding the safety feature and sticking a washer to the proximity sensor (magnetic sensor)

Mine cuts off when i set it down on the side stand. Its an 04 carbureted. I think it has something to do with fuel sloshing in the bowl but it never gives me trouble when leaning while riding 🤷🏼‍♂️

I already have the M Blaze Discs installed on the bar ends of my Sportster. Now I am thinking about installing the M Blaze Pins for my rear turn signals. Will I need to also intsall a flasher relay from moto gadget? It seems that they recommend using a relay for all of their led light installations. Did you use a relay for your motorcycle?

If you get no code does that mean the fuse is out or disconnected somewhere. It works but i get no code at all. Mileage goes away. Just a blank screen. Mine is aftermarket. I have no button for it and want it disabled or out

My son had a 48 good looking bike zoomed pretty good rode like crap. Own a thruxton by far a superior bike in all aspects handling ride quality fuel range ease of service. You will be calling the 48 your second.

This sensor is such an over-engineered and shitty approach to detect if the side stand is down, there are so many points of failure. Extremely expensive as well.

You should of wrapped from the bottom & back to the intake .... Allowing water & debris to not get stuck or forced under wrap. May all your days be Harley days🖤🧡🖤 Safe travels 🙏♥️🐾🐾🇦🇺
