Even if the quality of this device is let's say around 90% of the Helix Stomp, the price is half. Which is insane. Not to mention the price tags of a Kemper, Quad Cortex or Axe FX. They are all holy grails and trophies of amp modelling, purchased by studios, professionals or grown-up guitar enthusiasts with an above average income. Chances are that when you're an average teenager nowadays your parents will not spend this amount of money on your hobby. The problem is that the teenagers of today have the potential to rock the world of tomorrow, not the grown-ups. With this many features packed into one device for €288 it's hard not to get inspired, exploring music in general, jumping from one genre to the other. And because of this, Harley Benton will have a greater impact on the future of music than their competition. I'm pretty sure that 10-15 years from now some of the very best rock/metal guitarists will give the jump-start credit to the DNAfx GiT Pro, the one they got for Christmas during rising prices and inflation.

I bought this yesterday, been looking forward to its release and I'm very excited to dive in, perhaps with an unboxing video. A deep dive into the features like moving the blocks and input/output variations similar to how the manual shows may be helpful. For example, playing through a PA vs amp, including an effects loop for other pedals, and tracking/reamping in a DAW would be cool. How to manage the software and install IRs, or build a preset from scratch would be interesting as well. I've always wanted to buy a HB guitar, had my eyes on a few over the years but I saw this and decided to reallocate my money because it was too good to pass up. Thank you all for being so supportive of music culture by making high quality gear at an affordable price-point.

Looks like an excellent piece of equipment, with great connectivity on both this one and the smaller version! One important question... if connected to the front of a normal guitar amp (not a FRFR powered speaker, not a PA) can the amp simulation and cab/IR be switched off and the device be used just a regular multieffects pedal board...with out it colouring/degrading the signal/sound? If so, I´d def like to integrate one of these in to my analogue pedal board to connect to the front of a fender valve amp. I ask because I currently use the Line 6 PodGo for this purpose, and although it is possible to do this (switching off the amp sim and the cab/IR blocks in the Podgo and just using the effects blocks) it´s not really ideal as I find it still colours/degrades the natural tone of the amp... it´s like all these emulators on the market force you to stay within the digital world and purchace an FRFR powered cab to get the most out of the emulator, it´s not really ideal to integrate an emulator in to your analogue rig with a regular guitar amp, basically one has to purchase a digital rig separetly! (both an emulator and FRFR powered cab) Thanks in advance! :)

Hi guys, I'd like to ask owners of DNAfx GiT Pro about looper. I'm happy with soundshaping possibilities and IN/OUT connectivity. My main goal is to use it as a songbuilding tool with drums, one basic layer with guitar pitched down as a bass, keyboard or backing track into aux in and a rhythm guitar layer on top of it. First of all, it has undo/redo, but can I erase overdubbed layer and then after one bar restore it? I haven't found any info about loop itself can be pre effects or post, but I want different layers with different sounds as i mentioned above, is it possible? Does the looer still plays when I left looper mode to change the tone of the guitar? Does the loop is synced with drums in lenght? Can I stop the drums for one bar and then play them again in sync? The same goes for the looper itself, to stop looper and left only drums playing and after some time start synced loop again. Is there any precount before the recording starts, like half bar of intro drums and then it starts recording? Can you program switches to mute aux in? Are the switches active on "step" or relase? And lasty, ar the drumloops one 16 bar beats, or they are more complex? Currently I have Zoom g5 and I'm thinking about upgrading it. From the featurs it has pretty advanced looper, but it's not in sync, you have to match the start point with the drums. This is unacceptable on stage. Also, the drumloops are simple and there is only 40 of them. Cheers and thanks!

A deep dive would be really cool. I am possibly looking to replace a unit I currently have. So far I like that you only have to press one button to get to the tuner ( and Looper ). Would be interested in seeing if with midi I can use melo audio midi commander to control additional features. Would like to know if there is an app for the unit to do editing on a tablet or computer. Would like to see if you can load IR's into the unit.

Very nice unit! I would like to know if it is possible to switch a real amp channel via the AMP CTRL output by just selecting a patch. By reading the manual, I see that it is possible to attach to one of the four footswitches the function to switch channels of a real amp, but it is not clear if the channel can change by only switching a patch. For example, having a CLEAN patch that selects my amp clean channel, and a LEAD patch that selects my amp lead channel. Thanks.

Hey there. Wondering if there will be a way to separate the pedal chain into different outputs of the unit? Example: have the overdrive sent to the front of the amp and the delays/ reverbs sent to the FX loop? Thanks. If not, are there other multi effects pedals that do this? I’m not much for these types of units but at this price I might jump in.

Yes! You can set the FX loop output point to any position in the signal chain. So you can send the OD tone out to a preamp, loop back in to go through the reverbs then back out to the output stage of the amp.

Sorry to say so but this time Harley Benton flopped it. This product is not good and it's full of bugs (hope those can be solved though future software updates, but usually this requires times and it's not sure to solve the problems). For instance, you can hear a moment of silence when switching presets, even when you turn effects on and of, which makes it unusable live. Also, I think this is based around a Mooer GE250, as the small dnafx git was based on the mooer GE150, so the amp sims are pretty good, but the effects and reverbs suck. And has the problem, as well as the Mooer, that you can't use more effects of that type, for instance two overdrives together. The fx loop it's a gret thing, but doesn't take well external pedals, probably because they are buffered (veeery bad). For that price (or also less) , you can go far better with the original Mooer GE200, you can even import profiled amps on it, or with Zoom or Nux pedalboards, where the effects section is more complete and you can use multiple effects of that type. If you want to spend 300 bucks on this, I would definitely suggest to save money and buy an Hotone Ampero for a little bit more or the Hx stomp, which is more expensive but it's perfect in any aspect. Some users say that this is 90 percent good as the Hx stomp, but half the price, well, they couldn't be more wrong, even if you don't see it at a first glance: for instance, the Hx has the option to adjust the input impedance, which will make your external pedals sound very good, or built in effects like fuzz and wah sound way better. Some beginners may not know those tricks, but as your knowledge increase, you realise that this product is very incomplete and imperfect against the other, and Harley Benton should invest their money in building quality stuff instead of copying and rebranding other chinese products (and badly too)
