I bought 3 last month all in different colors and all 3 showed up absolutely flawless. The neck and fretwork feel better than any sub $1,000 guitar I've ever played and the sound quality is well worth 4-5x what the guitar costs. I wouldn't rule out buying a couple more.

What's the neck like? It's hard to tell in the video but it looks a little chunky, which some people love. Would you say it's more chunky or more thin?

@@advancedraymondology2914 It's chunkier but not super fat. I've always loved Charvel necks, but this is like 10% thicker with a similar feel.

The way these Asian companies can make these guitars are: 1. They have scanning equipment to image the high end guitars. 2. They have the latest CNC carving equipment. 3. They have experienced luthiers who are setting up the guitars 4. They have state of art spray and finishing processes

Oh yeah, Indonesia is the new Korea in terms of quality for the money leaders. I've had quite a few $700-$1,000 Fender, EVH and Charvel guitars that all came from the same Mexico factory and those are phenomenal. These new Indonesian-made guitars are right there with them. It's a golden age of guitars and that's an understatement.

I just bought one and love it. Mine is the JA60 OW. Plays and sounds great. I agree with everything you are passing on to others. I also just bought the DC junior by Harley Benton in Benton Blue. Another cool axe : ) It really helps with these guitars if you know how to do setups. New strings, intonation, action and trust rod adjustments. Other than that these are very nice instruments for any level player. "Peace with no division" Los Angeles

I got one identical to this a year or two ago; it is a really nice instrument to play. The price was a small fraction of what you would pay for a Gibson or Fender, it stands up very well against much more expensive guitars.

Nice playing as always Rich. You got some great sounds out of that guitar. Harley Benton guitars in general are good value for the money. Some delivery drivers have no respect for the items they are paid for to deliver safely.

Video is great dude! Really enjoyed it. got the harley bentpn amarok baratone and mr 'mosrite' modern yesterday and the big box was kinda damaged so I feared the worst but both guitars were in perfect condition Got the JA 60 in the blue colour just before christmas, harley bentons really are hard to beat for the price. Only problem its finding space for them all as my bass/guitar collection is at 24 now, luckily the only guitar left I want os a dan electro 12 string and it's not due to be in stock till August lol

@@RichBischoff I watched the entire video. Please tell me the section where you played clean ... without any overdirve, distortion or fuzz. There is a section where you lowered the volume and it cleaned up, but it still was not clean. I don't know cityman1111 but I also think a guitar like this needs to be played clean as well as with distortion or overdrive to demonstrate what it is capable of producing.

At 2:30 its pretty damn clean. I'm not sure what you guys are looking for? My cleans aren't your guys type of cleans. I suggest you watch a different video if that's what you looking for, like maybe a purist jazz channel, because I like a bit of breakup.

@@RichBischoff Clean is clean; it is not clean with breakup. After all, it is a "Jazz-master" clone in the first place so I think it would have been helpful to have heard some pure cleans, that's all.
