I bought one of these for my small recording setup. Really impressed for the money. Like you, I'd like to change the pick guard but haven't found anything out there yet. Thanks for the informative video, great job!

Thanks man! Yeah, probably you'll need to get in done by hand I'm afraid, but worth the shot. Cheers, enjoy the bass!

I just bought one. Absoltely love the feel of the neck; its profile, finish and the fretboard. Setup was near perfect, right out of the box. No sharp fret ends, and immaculate, faultless finish. Totally happy!

Nice review Cesar. Great sounds. "I'm not a bass player" ha, could've fooled me! Astonishing that an instrument like that can be sold so cheaply.

I've got an older, even cheaper version without pickguard. Got it *used* and thus cheaper still. Did a bit of geometry correction and general set-up and it was golden. Probably still gonna pimp the visuals a bit more. So much fun, there is no risk of fouling up an expensive instrument so why not? - And if the scale is long enough for Paul McCartney, I mean...
@CesarBenzoni3 жыл бұрын
Sure thing! I may pimp mine as well for the fun of it

Very nice instrument. Sounds like a P bass/Gibson ripper hybrid. With some better pickups, I bet it would sound even greater.

Absolutely! The thing with this price point is that you're not afraid to try out different stuff =)

Nice review! Thank you Cesar! I'm a full-scale bass beginner but I travel a lot for work. Do you think it could be a good mate for practice when I'm not at home? I know the space between keys is shorter, that's why I wonder if it could be useful for me...
@CesarBenzoni3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sergio, thank you! So, for me, as a guitar player, this bass is really comfortable to play, but for you as a proper bass player, I don't know if the short neck will feel better or worse. But it is really practical to carry around because of the size and the weight, you know? For this price, I think it's worth trying. =)

How is the balance? Is there any neck dive? I feel like there needs to be a standard neck dive test for all guitar and especially bass reviews. I have one in mind, but everyone hates lengthy, well thought out comments so much that they invented an acronym for it, TLDR.
@CesarBenzoni Жыл бұрын
I didn't know there was a term such as "neck dive" and neither TLDR😂 I always play and get used to the instrument. But I'll try the bass out later on and will let you know about this. Thanks!

Hi there. What’s the difference between this bass and the Ibanez TMB30-MGR Talman Short Scale? Do you know, besides the price?
@CesarBenzoni Жыл бұрын
Hey man! As far as I could see here, it has a bridge pickup on the type of the jazz basses bridge pickup, along with the precision type of pickup, so you probably have more possibilities of tone to work with. Thanks!
