So, I forgot to mic the audio on the clean, mid gain and high gain tones but mic'd it in the shred section 🤦‍♂️ What can I say, I had a long week 😅

July 22 , I just bought this exact guitar from Thomann. I've had it only 3 days so far but after all these review type videos and my own research on the Sc1000 after playing it I was so freaking surprised !

I think this guitar is a gem in the HB lineup. I bonded with it, put emg:s in it and upgraded the tuners. Returned a bunch of other HB models. I don't miss pricier guitars of this kind, so now i can focus on chasing fender type guitars, gretsches, 7 strings with evertunes...

Is the wiring a copy of the same solderless system Emg uses or did you have to do some soldering? I might upgrade the Hbzs for some Emgs myself.

@@RafsGearReviews a copy, just plug and play :) But note it's a three pin thing, so if you get emg "x" models like i did you get into trouble. I'm not sure how big of a difference the swap did, but i figured i'll use the guitar a lot and the 81/85 is such a staple. Can always use them with other guitars, or resell them and put the HB pickups back into the sc1000.

@@fredriksvard2603 When did you buy your SC-1000? Another Reviewer said that they recently changed Production and now you need to change the Electronics aswell.

@@konstantinspangler1383 Aha, didnt know. Got mine about 2 years ago i think. Atm im using my 80s gibson more, not because of the guitar itself but because of how the plugins i use respond to passive pickups vs actives.

I can't believe ESP allows this. HB even used the ESP/LTD signature inlays and headstock. They reversed the headstock but still. I wonder if they have some kind of contract with them.

J'ai acheté exactement la même guitare électrique la Harley Benton type SC-1000LH car je suis gaucher donc je avait pas d'autres choix Harley Benton ils sont vraiment très bien au niveau des gens qui veulent acheter une guitare électrique pour gaucher ils ont beaucoup de modèles pour les gauchers mais cette guitare électrique SC-1000 LH c'est ma première guitare électrique avec les micros guitare actifs j'ai acheté cette guitare en stock B pour 158€ il parle de Légère trace d'utilisation j'ai rien trouvé sur le corps de la guitare en général et j'ai bien regarder le tunomatic finalement j'ai vue pourquoi ils ont vendu cette guitare électrique en stock B le tunomatic était vraiment Mal intégrée dans le corps de la guitare j'ai démonté la guitare pour reprendre le tunomatic maintenant c'est bon elle sonne vraiment très bien et niveau des frettes Harley Benton a vraiment fait de très gros efforts sur les finitions car les premiers guitare Harley Benton avait les frettes dessus assez coupantes mais depuis que Thomann guitare leurs a envoyé des messages pour revoir le travail des frettes dessus maintenant Harley Benton sont devenus bien meilleur niveau des finitions de qualité de fabrication aussi les grandes marques comme Fender et Gibson doivent faire très attention à Harley Benton car ils sont entrain de monter en puissance niveau qualité de fabrication et de finition j'ai aussi deux autres modèles une HB DC-120CE BK LH UNE guitare électro acoustique je savais que je devrais faire quelque modification dessus reprendre les frettes régler le truss rod changer les cordes dessus par des cordes Martin's phosphore bronze et ma troisième guitare électrique pour gaucher Harley Benton type DC 580LH que j'ai acheté en occasion vente pour 60 euros seulement envoie compris la personne qui me l'a vendu Avez du Mal à trouver un guitariste gaucher donc j'ai sauté sur l'occasion pour 60 euros seulement envoie compris je suis très content d'avoir acheté cette guitare électrique car elle est dans Un état proche du neuf sinon j'ai aussi deux autres guitare électrique Jackson JS 22 dinky archtop black et une Jackson JS 32 LH signature Randy roads gris satiné ce sont de très bonnes guitare électrique ma toute première guitare électrique pour gaucher une Ibanez grg 170dxl je trouve que Ibanez on Un très bon son j'ai payé seulement 110€ pour cette guitare électrique Ibanez grg les cordes dessus on était changer chez le luthier de l'ancien propriétaire il a aussi régler cette guitare avant de me la vendre juste pour info j'ai commencé à jouer avec une guitare pour droitier mais bon ce n'était pas gagné d'avance car dans le temps les guitares électriques pour gauchers n'existait pas encore Jimi Hendrix le savez déjà il a simplement changer les cordes dessus pour les inversé et c'est devenu un des meilleurs guitariste gaucher au monde tout comme Tony iommi de black Sabbath c'est mon mentor Tony iommi lol en tout cas merci pour ta vidéo très bonne vidéo comme toujours

Conseil : regarder Paul Gilbert par exemple pour la maîtrise main droite main gauche en son crunch sans effets , replier les doigts pour éviter les bruits parasites , Et bosser le vibrato main gauche… ( Steve vai ? ) Et qui sait pour la musicalité écouter satch et petrucci… Les bonnes choses prennent du temps

Im thinking of getting this guitar for xmas. Ive noticed on the back it has a battery pack thing? So do i need batteries to play and how long do the batteries last?

Yes. It uses a 9V battery. It lasts a very long time (1500-3000 hours) so nothing to worry about there.

@@RafsGearReviews okay thanks. Also, when the battery is coming to ending and running out, does the performance and sound of the guitar sound worse? Does thomann give you a free battery with it? And do you mean it last 1500-3000 hours as in if it were on constantly or just altogether (on and/or off?

@@adamedwards6502 signal will die out when it's very low and if the battery is faulty it won't produce any sound. I've had 1 single battery on active pickup guitars like this for years.

Enjoy, one of the best guitar purchases i've made (it's in most of my videos). I had esp:s, gibsons, schecrers, whatever. I don't miss them, this does the active pickups metal guitar thing for me (besides evertune, trem and 7+ strings of course). This + a strat covers a loot of guitar ground. I do think HB guitar may vary wildly, your example may differ from mine.
