Your mission:
Assemble your DIY kit, paint/decorate it however you choose, and play it.
What is important for us is that the DIY kits are presented as a creative way for musicians and non-musicians to build and design a playable instrument.
The community has to upload one video (max. 1 minute) of playing the final instrument (please note that the video and your social media accounts have to be public). Sharing content of the building process / making off (pictures or videos) is appreciated - so we can share them on our social media / in our blog.
On KZbin, please include #DIYKitChallenge22 in the title, otherwise include it wherever possible. These platforms are allowed: KZbin, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Facebook.
The public challenge will be open to the public from 12 pm (CET) on April 18th 2022 until June 19th 2022 at 11.59pm CET.

I just received my guitars from HB and wow. For the low price I am amazed at the quality of the sound, design and playability of the both guitars. I plan on buying 2 more. The Amarok and CST 24t DIY kit

I'm a bit confused. Fret crowning is good and all, but i would not do that with eyes only, and do a proper leveling job and get some markers out first. Also I'd tape the fretboard. Still a cool guitar though. Probably would play some "Black Magic Woman" on this one, since it reminds me of Santana.

Use the best strings you can get and afford. I myself go with Optima Gold. Dont save money on cheap strings. They are one of the most potent and important components in the chain of sound. Optima have one ofthe nicest Sound I ever encountered. The last 6 Months even if you play a lot(like 8 hours a day).
