Harley Benton ST-Acoustic review, Fender Stratacoustic on a budget but is it any good? 🤔🤔

I have a bad shoulder. Tried a regular guitar and just could not play it due to the shoulder. Googled "narrowest body guitars" and found the Harley Benton ST-Acoustic. I was curious of the quality due to the price. I appreciate your review, thnaks. Unfortunate the shipping to America is well more than the guitar cost.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. This is decent guitar especially for the money. I’m really impressed how good it sounds plugged in with an overdrive pedal too. The only thing that I would consider changing but certainly not essential is the tuners. They’re ok but not the smoothest. Thanks for tuning in. I’ve reviewed lots of guitar on a playlist

Hi Rich, Looking well mate 👍🏻 Funnily enough, last week I thought I fancy an acoustic guitar. So I ordered a black Fender CD-60. I am pleased with it, but if I had seen this review first I might have been tempted to get one of these. It cost vertically the same price from new. I like the fact it’s much thinner than a standard acoustic guitar.

Hi Peter I guess that’s the advantage of this type of guitar, it feels closer to an electric than acoustic. I’m sure yours sounds fuller though. Thanks for tuning in

nice looking guitar Rich. i have the harley benton mini travel type guitar non plugin. bit of a taylor mini ripoff but a lovely guitar all the same. my pet hate with buying online from thomann is postage costs. Although reasonable i just dont like paying it. i always add to the order to bump the price up to qualify for free shipping. mostly there budget guitar strings which are absolutely fine in electric and acoustic. or a tuner cleaning product lemon oil axe wax etc. hope to see an update soon of your guitar practice lessons. keep up the good work.

@@thenovicenoisemaker Loving it so far. Really well built, First HB I have not had to play with truss rod. Sounds great, but then only been playing for a year and a bit so easily pleased.

Sounds better in the room but yeah, it’s a bit thin and boxy sounding. Sold it ages ago
