Great sounding and playing, thanks to both of you !

Robert, thanks for watching! I really enjoy hearing play-through samples like this. Daniel did a great job, and I enjoyed the variety of styles too. I wish I could play that well....another thing I need to work on, as wishing is getting me nowhere. Hope all is well, be safe and take care!

There is nothing better than to know the fruits of your work give joy to someone using this instrument you have build with your own hands. Your energy transforms the wood into a work of art. It amazes me every time again and again. This is what we are here for. 🙏

wjewell, thanks for watching and good to hear from you! So true, my playing never does the guitars any favors, so I'm really glad it's in good hands. I hope Daniel enjoys it for years. Be safe and take care!

This was a real fun series to watch. Would love to see you do another project like this.

kmatax, thanks for watching! Agreed, a great project, problems and all. The end result is what matters and I'm pretty happy with this one. Hope Daniel will love it for years. I have a lot of projects in line, plus some repair work - helps pay for the projects. I'll keep chipping away, stay tuned. Be safe and take care!

Hans, thanks for watching! Agreed, it's a great feeling for me to see and hear a project. My playing really doesn't do any project justice. Daniel is very humble about his playing, it all sounds really good to me, and I'm guessing in the room would be better yet. Thank you, and a safe and fun weekend to you too!

Hey Man, good to hear from you! Yes, Daniel did a great job of grabbing some sound samples. I really appreciate hearing the guitar, actually being played, not whatever I do to it, LOL. I'm hoping he'll really find all the voices that guitar has to offer. The wiring was a learning curve for me, but enlightening as well. So many unique sounds, out of 2 pickups. Pretty cool!

Very cool man, when is your next project build?
@theNextProject7 ай бұрын
Paolo, good to hear from you! Ahhh, I have so many things lined up. Wrapping up 2 strat repairs this weekend, then back to the LP neck project. Probably after that is an Ibanez that is getting an Evertune put in it. Then there is a Squire strat mod project - no idea what I'll do with that one - yet. Have a Warmoth neck and body that need to be turned into a guitar. Probably a few other misfit toys in the closet. I need more time for this stuff, LOL, Hope you are doing well, have a great weekend!

Nicejob... what clearcoat did you use after the stain ?
@theNextProject2 ай бұрын
Mr. Monster, thanks for watching! Directly over the stain is SimTech 28x50 polyester easy sanding sealer. That is then sanded thin and smooth, followed with automotive base coat/clear coat. I'm using PPG ShopLine products. Hope that helps. Be safe and take care!
