Harley Davidson 48 Night Ride 2 | Pure Engine Sound Only

Riding my 2020 Harley Davidson Sportster 48 with a TBR 2 into 1 Exhaust through town on a Sunday night with no particular destination in mind, but ended up at a Dutch Bros. ☕️😋
I am using a GoPro 8 mounted on the chin and the onboard audio to capture the sound with a foam cover.
Bike mods are minimal, but include a Stage 1 with a Two Brothers Racing Exhaust 2 into 1 with an Arlen Ness Monster Sucker Air Intake. I also have a LaPera Stubs Spoiler Seat to cushion the ride a bit.
I get asked about the gloves, they are LeeParks DeerTours. 🦌🧤
This is a POV motorcycle ride for the pure joy of riding and exhaust sound, nothing more, nothing less. A little acceleration here and there, but nothing crazy, it's a more on the chill side.

Here in Japan, there's no such a open wide road as one in this video. I have started my ride life two months ago with my GB350 and dreamed I could feel like I was all alone with my bike. Everyone should ride an air cooled bike so you understand the why of it all. Liquid cool is great and safe but the experience is the reason you ride and nothing beats an air cooled engine. When I was learning I didn't know the difference, the true difference and the reason why air cooled still exists is because of the experience and riders understand this therefore the supply still exists to meet the demand. I don't think people really ride Harley's because of the name as much as it is about the experience. I have an 803 Ducati Scrambler and I love the feeling I get compared to my larger bike which is liquid cooled. Bouncing from one to the other is nice so you can appreciate the differences as we always forget. Ask a woman.

I totally agree with you man. Something about the rawness of it, just hits different. I could have got a Rebel or Scout, but then I wouldn't have the experience that this bike gives me with the mechanical sound of it and the moving and shaking it brings with it. Pure enjoyment.

Not usually, something could always happen and it might be a good idea to have some tools, but the only thing I carry are some zip ties. 😄. Definitely no rain coat as we get minimal rainfall in here in the Southwest.

I love the decal that I would be able to get from the TBR, that I wouldn't get from the Khrome Werks. It still has a lower end rumble compared to most, but when I let off the gas the sound that comes from this bike just makes me smile, lol.

@@WatermelonMotoHead It just focuses you, the lights and sections are highlighted and simplifies what you see. And at least for me, enhances my ride. Plus open air at night is just enjoyable, like a convertible driving a night, magic. Though keep in mind it increases the dangers of riding as you can't see as much. Good strong headlights is a must, if you have a weak headlight, I would run your highbeam. Likely still not as strong as your modern car LED headlights.

Ah modern fuel injection and microprocessor controlled engines..sad. Wouldn't a kickstart and manually choked old points engine be aesthetically better? For those, they have to shake the sleep off, fire up and warm up before you can really go; like old aeroplanes on the tarmac--the oil has to be up to running temperature before you can take to the air

So I’ve got a question. I’ve got a 2013 48. With it obviously forward controls. How is the monster sucker intake in terms of hitting your leg on it? I’ve had it on an 883 before and my knee barely cleared it but it had mid controls. I’d like to have the same intake on my 48 but not too privy to having my leg hit it while riding. PS I’m 5’8”
