I've got a 2012 Blackline. Its my first Harley after 2 decades of various metrics including a Triumph 900 Adventurer. My Blackline is the first bike I've ever had that i would not even consider selling unless i was going to stop riding altogether.

I’ve been without a motorcycle for 15 yrs. yeah I’m a sad sack🤓 But I gotta respond to the “ all bikes breakdown comment” Your right they do eventually if you don’t take care of them. Before I had to sell my bikes when my kids needed clothes and books etc..... I did have a bike that never broke down once. I put 45,000 miles on it trouble free. Guess what kind of bike it was ??? A 1966 Triumph Bonneville all stock 750. I kicked it once and only once and it fired up every time. Gosh I miss that bike. ( I wonder where she is hmmmmm) But I also had a 1956 K model Sportster.....ugh it was a temperamental pain in my behind. I still loved it when it would start and run. 1999 Road King was my last bike and it was always making my rides not fun!!! Sometimes you can care for a bike and treat it like a baby and they still break down. But not so of that little Triumph. Darn it I need a bike again for my sanity!! I’m saving my change and someday I’ll have enough in my bike fund to get back on the road. For now I live my riding life through you and your test rides. Thank you for that. You are blessed Sean, be safe okay. ✌🏻🙏🇺🇸👍🏻

Iv had my 2011 fxs blackline since 2011. Same as the one your riding. Matter of fact i still have n ride it almost every day with not one problem in 11 yrs. I love my blackline!! That color is called Sedona orange and they only put that color on the 2011 models, they also had a pearl blue and an all black for that year. And to clear up another thing the 2011 came with 96ci TwinCam and the 2012 and 2013's came with the 103ci TwinCam.
@timmccormick53796 жыл бұрын
and they came in a few more color schemes. but the top half of the tank is the only thing that is different colors. mine is black. ive seen cobalt blue, burnt orange, not sure what else was offered.

Not 100% true, there was a two tone version in candy orange with the lower tank + fenders in Beer bottle brown. And then there is of course the all gold hard candy custom from 2013

I rode one at a demo day at the local HD dealership. Felt like a Sportster, it was so light. Handled better than the average HD by far. I don't know why they dumped it for the Breakout while pales by comparison.

Sean, I think you could easily install a powerful horn and put the air tank on the front of the rear license plate bracket to create an airflow and not a blunt license plate that would die of metal fatigue the way it sits now. Finding a spot to install the air pump might be a small challenge, but still could be done.

those are the factory bars for a Blackline. Harley offered a pullback aftermarket set for shorter folks, but they are factory bars with hidden cables.

If you want the same ride as yer grandpa 😂 love the videos and the lost post it notes Harleys are garbage unless you want a Harley or the Harley "look".performance, reliability, and cost it just does not have compared to every other bike out there. I would take a Harley over a Chinese bike Yea. They are fun to ride but shit guys....they need to get thier shit together.

Its just a blacked out softail i dont see anything unique about it, and that is definitely not a muscle bike.

Srkcycles fair enough hey man i may seem like a hater on a lot of my comments in your videos, please know its no offense, im jus tired of harley putting out the same old same old and repackaging it as something different and asking those premium prices. Love most of your videos. Id love harley if they were competitive and innovative, i grew up neeeeding a harley, then i found out just how badly they were scamming people. MAN I WISH YOUD GET IN A 2009+ VMAX.
@timmccormick53796 жыл бұрын
as far as factory Harley goes, its the lightest bike you can get with the largest engine option available for the year. 650 lbs, 103" its pretty fast, especially for a harley. and it is unique as hell. lowest 2up ride height of any Harley ever made, the console, the bars, the blacked out paint scheme. the narrower rear tire and fender. granted, its not some super special custom $50k 1 of 100 bike, but it is just different enough to stand out. mine gets tons of looks.
@TheBustedNut2 жыл бұрын
@@timmccormick5379 The 2011 like this bike came with the 96ci TC. Just letn you know the 12's n 13's had the 103.
