Well Sonny at least you are not thirsty, lol. Ever thought about a face shield for those bad rain storms, hurts less. I had a bike that did the same in the rain. Water was getting in the plug wire connections. I put some sealant around both ends of the wires and no more trouble. If is very annoying when that happens. Be safe, have fun.

Ride safe, and enjoy! I only tour with a FF helmet these days. You feel much cooler with the venting and no sun beating on your face. Also nice to have communication system to talk with other riders. In the rain, its GOLDEN. Good call on the orange rain jacket! How did it hold up?

We ran coms for a few years and have them still but we prefer no coms, I am way hotter in a helmet, they also make my neck hurt, but I believe we all do what is best for us. Thanks for watching

That's great I'm interested the fat boy previously had the 1200 Sportster years ago... And then an old KZ 650. From what I can tell the fat boy can handle the long trips with the big displacement engine
