This past weekend I was riding with a gal who rides a 2003 Fatboy. We came out from lunch. She tried to start and nothing. All she had was the odometer and the horn worked. I checked the fuse box under the seat, all the 15 amp fuses were good. Her battery was good. She had the bike towed to her home. I'm starting to think this 30 amp CB is the problem. Do you REALLY have to pull the rear wheel to get to this thing? Ahhhhh!

I've just bought a 1200 sportster from 1994, bought it and it ran, got it delivered few days later. Tried to start it when I got it and turned the key nothing. Battery is good. Fingers crossed this is thr issue. Look easier to get at on the sportster though l.

On a Sportster the connection is under the seat, but your problem is more likely to be a rotted out earth lead, hope it helps

Thank you… I located it right where you showed it. I agree, What a ridiculous place to put that part. 😵💫 I was able to change it without removing the rear wheel. By removing the black plastic guard . As well as the ecm plastic cover. Thanks again for your helpful video. 👌🏼🤟🏼
