Thanks mate, I appreciate it. Will chuck another update soon, just sorting front end wiring and dash setup so there will be something to show for next vid.

I have the same problem on my set up with the stock caliper and bracket. I’m running the same 13 spoke wheels but with the narrow bearings. The hub on the touring wheel is offset relative to the center line of the wheel. If I install the same size spacer on both sides the rotor hits that caliper mount. I’m going to have to run this ugly flhx wheel this year. I might buy another swing arm and clearance it.

My issue ending up being the Kraus adaptor itself. With the stock caliper on, everything was perfectly aligned and spaced. The issue was the depth of the slot on the Kraus adaptor was deep enough, so it cocked the adaptor crooked. I ended up taking about 5mm off the brake hanger perch on the swingarm. That was enough to have the adaptor sit square with no issues.

I have a 90 fxr I’m rebuilding what do I need to do to make the rims work? So many questions I have I watched all the videos on this build and love the way it turned out I also have the same front motor mount. I like the crash bar do I have to tell them I have that mount? Thank you in advance freaking awesome build

Hey mate, I don't know what forks, triples, wheels and brakes your using, but generally speaking it's just a matter of spacing everything out so that its centred. As for the crash bar, yes you do need to advise as the motor mount adds a good 20mm or so that needs go be factored into the dimensions.

Hope you can get that rear caliper mount figured out, I plan on going the same route.

I thought I replied to this one but doesnt look like it came through! I did end up sorting it out. I covered it in my last video but essentially the slot on the Kraus adaptor was not deep enough for the swingarm perch, which made it sit crooked. I confirmed by changing to the stock caliper to see what was happening, and that was all perfect. So with everything 100% aligned, there was no spacers issues, it was simply that the mount was deep enough. I ended up taking about 5-6mm off the perch, so it now sits square and everything is good.

What wheels and tires are you running just started my twin cam conversion and I like the way yours looks

These are just sealed bearing 13 spoke mags. Come in a range of colours and on a range of model designations, sportsters, dynas etc. Tyres are just whatever came stock on them I think!

What brake rotors are those? Looks like an awesome build coming along.

Thanks mate. Rotors, sprocket and motor mount are all ChopperHauss. After seeing how rubbish the Galfers turned out to be, im confident these are a better option and look awesome on the 13 spoke mags.
