I am so glad you incorporate the 360° camera into your videos. I watch a lot of KZbinrs that have them but really don’t use them, which is disappointing because they are so versatile.😎✌🏻
@GearsGadgets4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for noticing, I know why a lot of guys don’t incorporate it because it makes editing much more time consuming but in my opinion it is worth the extra effort. I think people will start to do it more when they embrace the workflows and get used to it a bit more. It is like having infinite camera angles to chose from in your edit.

Just bought a 2023 HD Heritage Classic as a retirement gift to myself about a month ago. I added a hard leather trunk tour pack and engine guards and guards for the bags. I love the fit, finish and feel of the bike. The Heritage has incredible torque, is extremely comfortable and fits like a glove with outstanding handling. It’s my first Harley if it proves to be as reliable as my mid size Japanese cruisers, I will be a HD rider for the rest of my life. Good video keep up the good work. Enjoy the wind therapy. GO BILLS !

Awesome review! Thank you for the review update. I watched your video's before I got my 2019 Heritage 114. I put on 11k miles in the first year. Absolutely love the bike. It is perfect for me. Rides great, excellent power and handling. I'll be following you reviews, I agree with everything you said. Can't recommend this bike more. However, there is one negative with the bike. It's so versatile it doesn't give you a reason to buy a second bike!!

Have really loved my 2019 also. I missed the music from my old street glide, so I am adding the fairing with music and a chopped tour pack. Still love to travel, but loving the weight difference from my heavier tour baggers.

Thanks Dan for your review. Congrats on 15k both in miles and subs. Your review helped me choose my Heritage. I use your quote all the time that it's Harley's Swiss army knife. Look forward to a meet up some day. Also wanted to say that I think the floorboards are too tight to the bike. Going to look into some kind of a spacer to push the out a little. Hit my boots on both sides.
@GearsGadgets4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Angel. I am happy to hear I helped in your decision on a Heritage. I absolutely think it is the Swiss Army knife in the Harley-Davidson lineup. I actually like the position of the floorboards but my headers have pocked up some soles off my boots because of it, I’m just not too worried about it.

Thanks for sharing your 15,000 milestone. The Heritage is a great bike and I really love mine. I too was looking at the Road King but the Heritage was the ride for me much better fit and so comfortable. Keep up the videos and enjoy the ride.

Thanks Giles, I think there is a lot of good arguments for the Heritage over the Road King but a lot of old school guys don’t agree. I can say I have a lot of viewers that have made the same determination. Ride safe!!

I just crossed 32K on my 2019 Limited. It is 2 days shy of 18 months old. I’ve owned a Heritage in the past, a 2008 Heritage which I bought new in ‘07. I probably averaged 6K per year on it until I traded for a 2017 Road King in 2018. I liked them both. I rode the Road King 10K miles in 7 months before I traded for the new 2019 Limited. My wife and I decided we wanted longer rides together. I can hardly stay off of it. She loves it too.
@GearsGadgets4 жыл бұрын
That is a TON of riding. If I was logging that kind of miles with my wife as a passenger I would go with a touring bike too. I think when my daughter gets a little older we will likely do more motorcycle travel together.

My best motorcycle experience was not on one of my 14 Harley's , but on one of my 6 cruiser Honda's , a 2000 , 1100 Spirit . We went to the Honda Hoot in Tennessee , 4,800 miles in 5 days , 3 of them it rained . Crazy to say the least . I was miserably sick , the whole ride home , no express ways is our rules . But when I pulled in the drive , I was sad to be home , but grateful . I have had 1 Street Glide too many , and not enough Heritage Classic bikes , having 3 of the 4 , I just love these machines . My newest is a 120th M8 114 , it sure has power , but soul is yet remaining to be seen . Thank you for your honest review of an awesome bike , cheers , and ride safe .

Like you Dan, have no regrets with my 2018 Heritage with the 114. And it’s a 115th Anniversary #395. Did similar mods, Reinhart slipons, ciro led’s for the rear with the strobe, detachable sissy bar, mustache engine guard which I’m very happy I had having literally dropped it twice (don’t ask), and other cosmetic stuff and regular maintenance like Michelin tires which I’d recommend also. With 14k+, I couldn’t be happier

Awesome Andy. I have dropped mine twice too without the engine guard and it was fine, they were both just bonehead parking mistakes which I guess happen to everyone. I think it is an awesome bike. Ride safe, thanks for the comment!!

I have a 2020 low rider s with the heritage rear shock in it. Zero issues 7,000 miles. Did 910 miles in 12hr 40min on the way home sturgis. Being a nerd I measured out my fluids zero transfer. And did long stretches over 100 mph. I like you ride to work and I didn’t want a 900 lb bike at this time. The softail set up is incredible. The fires suck over 1000 homes lost up my way. Just terrible.

hi, My issue with my Heritage flhcs 2018 was, my voltage regulator stopped working at 5000miles, after riding through a heavy rain storm as i live in Europe it took nearly 3 months for the part to turn up (Corona Virus) slowed it down but was repaired under warranty, and what you did on your front fender I did on my rear fender, such is life sometimes, and still got sqeaky drive belt, and the side stand is weak mine fell over,. great videos

Yeah anytime I have spent in Florida seemed like it rains all the time. I spent about 5 minutes trying to get that burnt rubber off that header but it was a nightmare so I just consider it part of the bike now lol. You never brought your bike to the shop? The 1,000 mile service is the most important, you also need it serviced at 5,000 miles, 10,000 miles, and 15,000 miles. Better look at the owners manual for service intervals. If you never changed the oil your engine won't last long.
@bodieb3164 жыл бұрын
Did you add the dyno jet after your warranty, or did you void it?
@GearsGadgets4 жыл бұрын
I did it during warranty, it saves the OEM tune so the one time I took it to the shop I just rolled the tune back and took the power vision off the bike and nobody said anything.

@@GearsGadgets did you have the slip-ons then? My dealer told me if I go aftermarket Slip-On, it would void my warranty. (Power train)

Yeah I have had my wife on the back a few times and it handled it just fine. I would imagine it wouldn’t be super comfortable long distance but it was fine around town.
