I had a 2021 PB, had the stereo problem, then really great, until at 83K the transmission threw some codes. They replaced a sensor three times - then rebuilt the transmission - then put a new transmission altogether. The dealer showed me the retail on the PB transmission - it is $12K for the new gear and labor. I arranged a good trade in and got a new '23 F150 ecoboost - no problems and have 50K miles today. The problem is the complete hybrid system - it is so complicated, eventually they will figure it out ... but I didn't like being the first model year, mistake on my part. So, if you think Ford is bad - do some more homework - they all have some really challenging problems too. The real issue with the F150 is the powerboost.

My 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche tonneau cover came with the truck and was 100% waterproof through a thunderstorm and 30 mph winds. The girls scouts kicked me out from a sound sleep when their tent was collapsing (I had to go to their tent.) It was watertight at least the first 10 years. :) The rubber got hard eventually and had a minor leak. The truck had a "water management system with gutters on the sides and good end seals.

Actually bought one of these ! Except you’ll have a problem if you’re riding a HD Sportster because of the sportster’s shorter frame. And did purchase an Indian motorcycle adapter which does work somewhat better. Would certainly appreciate Lets Roll to design and market a lift for shorter frames, maybe someday ? Mid year 2023 ! Don’t get me wrong, these are the best lifts on the market !!!

The only thing that lets Indian down is Polaris. I have owned Indians for the last 5 years and the service from Polaris to the customer is far from satisfactory. They make a good bike but if they are not willing to put the effort into the guys buying their bikes its a bit pointless. Especially bad here in the UK but friends in America who have been long time customers have the same experiances.

So Goldwing rider here. If you connect the phone to your Edge and the motorcycle and the Edge to the motorcycle then Android Auto or Apple Carplay doesn't work. My buddy with a 2022 Pursuit has the same issue. So would this negate AA/Carplay or crash detection??? Thanks

Hi Nathan, Thanks for your comment. I'm actually addressing how some people compare the Slingshot to sports cars, which isn't its intended market. It's not about my experience being real and theirs being fake. It’s about the frustration of seeing comparisons between a $20,000 Slingshot and much more expensive sports cars, especially by those who often drive high-end press fleet vehicles. The Slingshot isn't marketed as a sports car, and I think it's important to evaluate it based on what it is rather than what it isn't. I share this opinion based on having a ton of experience in the Slingshot myself, not just judging other people’s experiences. Best, Dan

Ruroc fucked up with the 3.0, i skipped it due to them taking launch orders then not shipping for months. The cheek pad nonsense kept me from ever getting it. I did get the 4.0 and it is way better then my 2.0 and on par with my Shoei. I liked it so much i bought one for my wife. I just received the EOX and they have made some improvments feom the 4.0 however sizing changed which is annoying. Overall the quality is very good. I hate D rings personally so the fidlock is a feature i 100% want

My wife and I bought a new Slingshot on May 25 of this year (our 50th wedding anniversary). It looks just like the one in this video except it has black wheels and a cheaper radio. We have rode about 350,000 miles on motorcyces, the last two were Harley TriGides due to health issues.. My wife has battled cancer eight times since 2010. She maxed out on Chemo, radistion and Cyber knife treatments and is currently on immunotharpey treatments and wil be every 28 days for the rest of her life. By the way, Harley trikes ride like an old dumop truck, simply awful. My last Harley, a $37,000 Tri Gide broke down four times within the first year. Now I feel sorry for the people I see on a Harley. I wanted another two wheeled motorcycyle, but my wife wanted a side by side to ride out on the country roads. I think we got the best of both worlds with the Slingshot. Many times Slingshots are compared to sport cars. I bought a new 2019 Fiat 124 Spyfer and it was fun and I liked it a lot. But my wife wanted a red Camaro convertibale so I traded the Fiat in on a Camaro which was no fun at all. The Slingshot is more out in the open since it has such a small windshirld and no doors, so it does feel more like a motorcycyle than a sport car. and It is a blast to drive. My wife is crippled thanks to the cancer, the treatments and 12 surgerie. She can no longer climb on a motorcycyle but she can fall into our Slingshot and I can help her out when we get home. So a Slingshot can be for old people with health issues and keep them out there enjoying life. Thanks for sharing this video.

I bought an ankle weight to use when I'm using the Adaptive CC. Saves me a bunch of cash so I don't even have to buy the Bluecruise every year. Love my 21' Powerboost Lariat 502A package PS-I think the same thing showing up on jobs sites. My truck was 74K brand new but I buy used to ease people's thinking. It sucks I have to do this but this thinking is so true. I'm wish ya man!

My wife and I have rode about 350,000 miles on mortorcycles, but she has battled cancer eight times and between the cancer, the treatments and the 12 sugereis she is now crippled and can no longer get on a motorcycle. We had a 2019 Fiat 124 Spyder which was dun and a 2020 Camaro convertible which was just OK. On May 25th we bought our first Slingshot (our 50 wedding anniversary). You are correct the experience a Slingshot provides is extremely hard to describe. Two of our motorcycles were Harley Davidson Tri Glide trikes and they rode like old dump trucks. They each cost $37,000 and the last one broke down four times within the first. I'm done with Harleys. We've only got about 200 miles on our Slingshot but I'm worried. To me there is eccesive transmission whine, I mean really loud and a clucking or clanging noises in the angle grear box. I fear the dealership just threw the Slingshot together within checking it out. I fear the transmssion and/or angle gear box is low on oil. I know the final drive belt is running way off to one side and that can cause some noise, too. I wanted another two wheeled motorcycle, my wife wanted a side by side. The Slingshot is BOTH and we can take it any place we want to go unlike a side by side. She sort of falls in the Slingshot and I help her back out. So the Slingshot is helping us to enjoy life even with health issues in our senior years. My biggest worry is all the transmission and angle box noises. Are these noises normal with a Slingshot or should I be cheking the oil levels and adjust the final belt before I drive it much further? Thank you for this video and thank you for your help with these issues.

Your dealer will give it a good look (or should) when you bring it in for the 500 mile service. I would ask them about it to be on the safe side. The sounds you hear are normal. If you look under it, there is no soundproofing. In a car, you have thicker floorpans, soundproofing and also carpeting to deaden the sound. I've had mine for a month and have added the ragtop already which makes it quieter to carry on conversations. I just put a Klock Werks windshield on today and it does flip the wind up, which makes it even more quiet. Good luck to you and I hope you get years of enjoyment out of it. My wife quit riding on 2. We (and especially she) are really enjoying ours and planing lots of trips in it. Not sure it you got the manual or not but I did.

@@602North I just saw an ad on Facebook from Polaris that says if someone buys a 2023 SLingshot in the month of May 2024 you can get $2000 in Customer cash. We bought ours on May 25, 2024 and did not revieve any customer cash. I am really upset ove this now. Maybe the dealer is going to spend MY $2000 on his side by side.
