Finally test both today the heritage and 107 road king. Liked the heritage but you just have to test ride the road king standard. The standard on the touring frame with the higher travel in the shocks and more rubber on the wheels would leave the road king special for dead on smoothness and comfort. I like you took out the Street Glide which is the same as the RK special and i would say the Heitage rides better and is smoother but please do youself a favour and take out the RK standard, its in a different world but you would have to like the chrome. Keep it in mind and very interested in your thoughts.. Keep posting those videos..

Hello Mr Darcy, firstly great video, it is a small World we live in, I have a 114cu heritage in twisted cherry, it's a December 2018. Model, I fully agree with you with this annoying little side stand and im also worried about dropping the machine ,,Ive fitted engine bars, and I think i'll fit them at the back as well to protect the bags, plus I also backed into a plant stand at a Supermarket and slightly damaged the same metal part on the rear fender, as with you I'll change the mufflers but I think I'll do the mapping with a fuel pack as well, that left hand fuel cap could be fitted with a number of add on' s like temp gauge for your Cylinder head or a clock etc, Happy riding ...
@MrDarcy-OlMan5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Interesting to know that other people are experiencing the same issues. I was going to get a fuel pack but I rather like the little pops and bangs it does on the over run

I don't want to seem mean. I generally enjoy your videos but, this one is a bit disappointing. The sound quality was very bad. And the continuity was a little disjointed. However, the good news (for me) is that as a 6'3" man you are very comfortable on the bike. I'm 6'3" myself and wasn't sure if the Softail frame was big enough. Also you point out what I've been thinking about the Heritage. The fact that you can remove the bags and windshield and voila ! You have a Deluxe. Very cool. ✌

This was filmed before we decided to become a proper channel. We now have professional equipment, mics etc. We don’t get paid for this by the way, certainly not at the time of making that video; of course now we get a bit of advertising revenue every month, but only what most people earn in a day. The Heritage is definitely a good fit for my/your height. On Monday evening we’re uploading a video all about tall people and motorcycles!
