Rohan Khot actually, just one SUV. Most cars under 25-30 lakhs in India are just hatches and UVs (like MUV) that use the SUV name to push sales. No car that is two wheel drive, let alone FWD, or even AWD is a real SUV. The only real SUVs under 25 lakhs are the Thar and the Gurkha. The Safaris and such others are UVs of high capabilities but not true SUVs.

The range is awsm for a commuter bike. For any electric commuter bike in India to succeed, it'll need a minimum range of 200 kms and the price on road should not more than Rs 2 lacs.

What about highway touring. Where bikers can do a distance of 500km in a day, electric bikes really let you down. Though city commute will be awesome. No tension of clutch, gear, and misjudgement of both. But again the question is are these bikes capable to take on the rainy season of india. Many research to be done (for indian conditions) and many questions to be answered.

The future is NEW all electric vehicles, no noise, no emissions, lower fuel costs, less maintenance. Time to dump those OLD polluting gas and diesel vehicles. Electric Motor Cycles, electric scooters, electric bikes, electric taxis, electric buses, electric trucks the world is going electric. India does not want to be the dumping ground for old polluting gas and diesel technology. China is mandating electric vehicles. India needs to do the same. Buy electric. That is the future.

I only ride Sport naked bikes. The Livewire is the only Harley I would consider buying. But I've said I would never own an electric bike. Having said that, if I had to buy an electric bike though, the Livewire is way behind the curve, which is not unusual for HD. It is a nice looking motorcycle but it falls into the category...'half the range for twice the price'. There are already many better, less expensive choices in this segment.
