Excellent step by step guide to removing and then replacing the tank. I like the tip about using silicon on the grommets and fuel line rixture prior to reinstalling the parts. Please take this as a friendly request, consider using a lapel microphone it will keep the sound balanced throughout your video presentations. Peace be with you.

Thank you for watching the videos, glad they are helpful. So mine is a 23 model. In the video I had the Harley pegs on, 80 grit is what they call them. They have done well for me. I recently changed to Blackdog Cycle Works pegs. They are even wider than the 80 grits, longer and are lowered about 1/2”. The rear rack is a Harley rack, actually for the rear top box. I just use it as a regular rack. I don’t remember if I had this in this video or not but I removed the passenger seat and installed a Wunderlich rack that replaces it. I really like that. Also, Blackdog has one that I believe is one piece that is the same length as both my racks. You might look into that one. I would do that only if the rack removes like the stock passenger seat does. My Wunderlich rack removes that way which is good to access under the seat. Anyways, long answer but hope it helps!

What are your thoughts on the fuel tank coating TSB? Will HD kee replacing fuel pumps till warranties expire or will they give us new fuel tanks?

Good question. From what I gather HD is not saying this is the fix for the fuel pump issue. I think most of us are just assuming it is related and makes sense. I really don’t see HD replacing fuel tanks with coated tanks when fuel pumps go bad under warranty, just my opinion.

Very well explained but please, it's a pain of a design, HD designers/engineers could have and should have done better to make the access to connectors more easily accessible.
