Nice! I'm purchasing a 1957 G model trike that my brother used to own. He had to sell it 20 years ago during hard times, and I'm having it delivered from Miami next week. He's too ill to ride it but I wanted to see him to see it one last time before he passed. Going to be a wonderful surprise!

This video has helped me out by showing the operation of the Servi-Car clutch. I removed the mousetrap clutch on my 1942 WLC and replaced it with a Servi-Car clutch like you demonstrated. This was a common conversion on Harleys in the 1960's but now there is little information. If the clutch for the Servi-Car is installed on a two-wheel flathead or panhead you could have an accident related to the changeover. So they called it the suicide clutch. The factory-installed mousetrap clutch or rocker clutch is more complicated if it is necessary to stop immediately with no time to downshift. The final deciding factor seems to be whether you would want to stall your motorcycle in traffic every time you had to stop suddenly. I find that the Servi-Car clutch is easier for shifting up or down. And when I do have to put my foot down while the bike is in gear, I have a front wheel brake so I can stall the bike before I drive into a collision. In the 60's we removed the front brake so accidents involving "suicide clutches" were common. But getting back to your bike. It is very interesting because of the foot-operated siren and other features. You have a gem.
