Good video Tony, I love Memphis Shades. When I was young nobody but Electra Glide owners had windshields so I grew up riding with the wind in my hair. But in the late 70s some bigger road bikes started showing up with windshields. I tried one and I was hooked. Haven rode Without a windshield since 76. I agree with the fatigue factor change. Ride safe

Hi Tony I purchased Harley Davidson 18inch windshield for my 2019 softail slim and have got 12inch chiselled handlebars. I am getting lot of head buffeting even to reduce head buffeting I also imported fork deflectors to London UK 🇬🇧 from Jes customs from new York again that was a recommendation from one of the you tuber some where Midwest . Basically after all the hassle I am still getting head buffeting after 50 mph. Please recommend suggestions to fix the problem. Stay safe

Man, buffeting is tough. I’m not sure if the Harley windshield has an angle adjustment. The Memphis shades you can rake back which helped me quite a bit. I just installed a 15 inch windshield and it completely eliminated the buffeting.

So I got mine in the mail and the bolts for the anchor points are. Bigger than the bolts that I pulled out of the forks. Do you know if the bolts that are in the bushings can be swapped out with a smaller one? If they fall out of the bushing I might just go buy different bolts

Newbie here. Just saw your video. I have a 2020 slim. I need a windshield on mine as well. What size is yours, or how did you do your measurement to get the one you needed. I added the Mustang fastback seat, it didn't bring raise me up hardly at all.

I've got the Harley version and above 45-50 mph the buffeting is so bad you can't ride with it. The noise it creates is also terrible with the buffeting. I've taken it off, miles better without it. Sounds strange I know. I've not tried adjusting but don't think it will change it.

Oh man, that’s a tough question to answer. I would suggest watching some videos I have a bunch related to mods on my slim. Stick with the big brands fit and finish are always better in my opinion. Vance & Hines, S&S, saddlemen, mustang, just to name a few.

I called Memphis Shades today. They said that the one I wanted isn't listed available for the softail slim... would it be the same size as the heritage or another bike? I know some parts interchange just can't find the answer to this question.

Hey Johnny, I’m not sure about that one. I know the slim is a pretty exact fit. Memphis shades would be the best resource for that. Sorry I wasn’t much help.

@@TonysGarage the flsb sport glide is the same. Found out from a local Harley-Davidson dealer yesterday. Memphis shades has it listed as the same one in their dealer catalogs.... yet they don't know that when you can them.
