You might not want to say but I’m looking to put a 21 on my bob. Curious what you spent to have that done. Getting quoted at like 800 right now

So what I did was custom ordered a 21" front rim and 16" rear rim that were powder coated black and used sportster spokes and laced the rims to my stock hubs. So the only cost was for the rims and spokes which was around $450 (ish) for the rims and spokes. I could see a full rim setup being much more in cost as it would have a custom hub and laced rim ready to go.

Awesome look! But I do have a question: are your rear lights 2-1 (by that i mean signal and brake light in one) and where are your front signals? I know you used to have it on the fork sides before.

Thanks man! and yes, the rear lights are the stock lights that are 2-1. I also removed my front signals as they are too bulky and I wanted a cleaner front end. I plan to eventually get LED front lights that are very small and attach to my hand controls, but just havnt don't that yet haha.

What size tires did you end up going with? I’m doing a 21” fat spoke front, and a matching 16” rear.. my concern is clearance for the rear, I’ll be putting burley slammers on mine as well

I went with Avon Cobra white wall tires. The front is AV71 Cobra MH90-21 and the rear is AV72 Cobra 180/70R16. With a 180 rear tire and 10.5 burly slammers, I have no issues with clearance or bottoming out.

@@jameswarren86 So a stock tire on my dyna is a 160/70 R17 what would be the payoff to respoke a 16" rim? Is it that you cant get a 180 tire on it or does it make a difference in the look...or is it that you cant lower it?

@@stoner-ud3ze I went with a 16" wheel for two reasons, the first was that I wanted a smaller rear wheel look than the stock 17", and the second is that (at the time) I could only find a 180 white wall tire in 16" In order to fit a 180, you need a 5" wide rim, so I was gonna have to upgrade the rim regardless, so I chose to go 16" for the aesthetics and limited 180 sized white wall options.

Did you have to modify anything to get the tank lift to work? I bought the same one and it doesnt go on

I didn't have to modify anything no. The only trouble I had was with the tank connector tubing. If I remember right, I had to get a longer tubing.

James Warren did you use stock cables, buy longer ones, or just use extensions

@@Toofargone666 I did have to buy longer cables and fully extend the wiring. I used the Burly Brand cable kit for the 14" bar size.
