After taking trial of all 3 I have booked HD x440. It also has parts which are expected to be better but still when it comes to engine thump and long rides it offer shear comfort. Triumph is good for the people who wants to have speed at the top of their game. Triumph buit quality is better than HD(or Hero Davidson). Everyone knows about classic they might improve after facing some competition but still for people RE is purely emotion. Choose any bike you won’t go wrong either

nah. Its a good launch but its becoming overrated. Its good for the price but the price is low cause its recently launched. If it costs 3 to 4lakhs in future it will be another average bike. Also we dont now the outcoming for this bike yet. No one own the bike, and we dont know how would be the service for it. So we need to wait to see it in a year or 2. 😊 And Im sure in 1 year or 2 we will have a lot of incredible launches

Triumph Speed 400 is my choice. In terms of looks, style and performance, this bike is a great option to choose among its rivals. Harley doesn't look like a retro bike, but a modern classic urban bike. RE doesn't has a style, just a plain look from front to rear. From price point of view also, Triumph looks good.

I feel these 3 motorcycles have different character of their own. Classic 350 being a retro cruiser creates its dominance with its looks and feel with the rider, S400 looks more of a modern scrambler which can come close to the D390, X440 is best of both the worlds with its classic styling and the nature of a cruiser. Anything for me which came close to Classic 350 was highness. But as the video said X440 has to be the close competitor, hoping to ride one soon 🤞

Just a personal opinion if you are looking for more of a performance oriented bike which looks good you can go for triumph (Looks really rich) If you need somewhere a mixture of performance and character you can go for harley (not sure but as per other review it carry character from original Harley ) And if you looking for something retro yet comfortable and performance is not a major concern (acceleration ,cornering or top speed wise) Where you get a better service network and reliability You can go for classic or meteor

Under square & air cooled engine bikes like CB350, Scram 411 and RE350s will be the right comparison for HD 440x. Over square & liquid cooled engine bikes Dominar 400, CB300R, Duke 390 and BMW 310R will be the right comparison for Speed 400. Comparing Speed 400 with HD 440x is an Apples to Oranges comparison in terms of engine performance, one is meant for calm cruising and the other is meant for high speed fun

Although it's a really good jump for RE and their engines deliver better and smoother performance. Cb350 is technically more advanced - smoother riding experience, smoother cruising, better mileage, better acceleration, better top speed, longer interval for servicing.

As I said its neck to neck, you get better looks (that would be general opinion of majority in this world) a more authentic experience and an original product. H'ness comes off as cheap knockoff. They try to replicate RE sound and it's artificially unlike Enfield which is organically comes from engine. They call it H'ness so that it sound like Royal which is a cheap shot from a brand like Honda and that why they didn't use that name in Japan, infact they didn't even call it a CB there it's called GB350 (Great Britain) so it's clearly a copy which doesn't provide a whole lot more. So just buy the original British or look for better alternatives like Harley or triumph. You will see this soon reflect in their sales numbers. They should have launched a bike like Yamaha SR400 and maintained monopoly there instead of copying someone else's homework.

But in highness/RS low end torque is less is high gears..You cant ride in city under 40km/h even in 3rd gear as the engine will start to knock..And in 4th gear it cant ride below 60 without clutch assist..Also the pillion comfort is average and you will get soaked in mud in a rainy day..The good things about highness are vibration free engine,light clutch,precise gearing and great ride control..The lazy middle age gang who like to ride slowly even in 5th gear may not like CB 350 and its nature..Its for those who are little more aggressive..

Aside from being closely matched in price, I don't see how these bikes are even in the same realm of comparison. It's like comparing tea(RE) to coffee(H-D) and orange juice(Triumph). All great morning drinks but were mostly a tea-drinking nation here. A decade ago I would jump at the chance to ride a bike like the Speed 400, but now in my mid 30s, the heart just thumps slowly for the RE. Just my two paises.

Spot on summary....!!! Tea, coffee and orange juice. All three are great, have a separate craving and therefore, separate market/customer base. Quite difficult to pick out a clear winner based on facts, figures and price tags. Buyers with cash to venture in this segment mainly consider the feel, convenience and peace of mind. Spec sheets do take a back seat while making a purchase decision. A big shout out to Autocar India Team to complete the shoot in such a rainy condition considering that motorcycles & riders are most vulnerable on wet patches.

The rear mudguard is bolted on to the frame apparently, the seat is attached directly on top of that mudguard. If you take off the mudguard, you will also have to find some jugad for the seat.

I have used three Royal Enfields (two 350cc and a 500cc) and I am in complete agreement with all your comments on the Royal Enfield. "Lazy' is an understatement. Let's say it the way it is - it is grossly underpowered and feels unsafe over 90 kmph. Its sweet spot is 70 kmph. Importantly RE components are of extremely poor quality, be it the EFI pump, wiring harness, brake pistons, speedo cluster, rusting, leaky fuel caps, chain and sprocket replacements are just a few. The Triumph looks very promising and hopefully, it will be in the showrooms soon.

How the hell does triumph competes with long stroke engine of Harley Davidson, royal enfield and Honda cb350? All these people comparing needs to understand that young riders will go for triumph and big and older riders will choose long stroke engine... Triumph should be compared with ktm 390,jawa, yezdi, honda CB300R and bmw 310/apache 310 series.... The price of triumph is 2.3L because currently they have 12 to 15 showroom across India... Triumph doesn't have more showrooms than states we have 😂🤣😂.... Take a test ride and I promise you triumph feels like riding a ktm with different Riding posture... Again, bajaj will fail just like ktm and dominar 400... Never compete with something that doesn't compete in the same segment...

Hi guys, i am new to the bike world. I have been watching some podcasts and reviews and have figured out that RE dominates the market in the upper segments. My query is what does RE, as a brand and its products, as product value offer to the customers that it attracts so much sales every month...? Answer 1. RE 350cc engine successful engine which RE use in all 350cc bike. 2. Classic retro look and engine sound make RE popular. 3. Build quality of RE bike is top notch. 4. After sell Service is very good 5. Now RE become brand so resell value is also high. All three bike is good because Harley Davidson and Triumph is also big brand company and quality their bike is also top notch but they just start here so i think let see how they provide service centre facility and product part availability and first how this two company products perform in India.

Between the Classic 350 and Honda CB 350, i will anyday take the CB 350....even though the service network is thin. Riding it for 2 years now, it is a much superior overall package than the Classic 350. For the Bajaj badged as Triumph and Hero badged as Harley, heck - i am not buying them. I will rather buy the Dominar 400 or KTM 390.

In the performance test figures, did you guys use VBOX test suite or just relayed on speedo indicated speed? Coz in video you said that triumph has significant speedo error.

unfortunately it is a good bike but still not an exact copy interms of gearing and steering feedback with that of enfields, also 4 k sales don't matter in front of 27k selling classic or 18k selling hunter or 12k selling std350.

@@HunterVlog350cc Indian purchasing power is increasing. That's why Harley and Triumph launched 400cc+ bikes instead of competing in sub 350 market. Many people want to buy Enfield due to its comfortable ergonomics and mature looks but feel 350cc to be under powered. These bikes will cater to them, if Honda realeased a much powerful bike it would have maintained monopoly there instead of competing with Enfield.

Comparison with interceptor 650 is fair enough as comparing to torque as well as over all performance with speed. Although, I know it is a dual cylinder engine but as per onroad pricing it’s 30-40k diff b/w harley n interceptor as well as triumph speed 400. So, interceptor vs speed 400 vs harley is better comparision I feel!!
