i love this color, my 08 softail deluxe was the same color and i knew my roadking had to be the same as well

Was yours making the noise on every hot restart or randomly and does it still do it sometimes? My O7 Road King was making very nasty noises on hot starts but not every time but once out of every 2-3 starts maybe. My problem was a worn compensator. I replaced it with a Darkhorse Man O War compensator and problem solved. Just a heads up if you’re still getting the noise or do in the future and you’re scratching your head why. The stock Harley comps are notorious for problems and the “upgraded” Screaming Eagle comps aren’t much better. The Darkhorse is worth its weight in gold. Nice bike BTW.

i haven’t gotten the noise ever since installing the new starter, it was only ever on hot starts but never the first start up on the day so i think it’s safe to say it was the starter in my case. thank you for the compensator recommendation because i know someday ill be needing one so ill look into the man o war! thank you for your comment and suggestion! ride safe 🍻

@@seabass_m Good to hear it stopped. Yeah mine was only on hot starts too that’s why I was saying if you’re still having the problem to possibly look at the compensator. You stay safe too.
