Well done Ryan. Although I am a few months off, I am seriously considering which model touring bike to update to. Ryan, bought the video and thanks as it helped alot. However I noted that for some reason my Ride Planner when adding locations along the route (lunch/gas stops) I am told that will not work. I noted the navigation stops at the location selected (1st stop) and does not restart at the that point (it wants me to go back to the start). I was also told by others to select the location (tear drop shape) and right click it to change to a waypoint, this does not seem to work as well on the planner as it only provides me the remove location option. Hope you can assist, I did not see this on the vid.

We go over everything and all platforms. Understand, Google stopped supporting the loading of Android Auto on two-wheel vehicles, so it could not be put on this new unit. With that said, you can still easily pair your Android phone with the unit and get much functionality. I show it to you all.

I have a question on the 2024 imbedded navigation that my dealer can’t seem to answer. Is this $350 subscription satellite based or based on the cellular signal from my phone’s hotspot? I know the weather updates use a cellular signal but what about the actual navigation? The information from Harley is not clear. I travel lots of places where there is no cell signal so I wouldn’t purchase unless it’s satellite-based.

Great video explaining the operating details of the IFCU. I learned some details I wasn't aware of. Definitely will watch repeatedly. Initially tried to play vids on MacBook Pro using safari OS (no good), then switched to chrome and was able to see videos. I hope the dealership techs watch these vids, they're learning about Skyline OS also. Thank You.

Hey Ryan, I'm in part 2 about 26 minutes in and the infortainment display becomes blurry. Is it just me? 1st 25 minutes of part 2 was fine.@@RyanUrlacher

And just as in cars…no such thing as repair anymore. Failure in one module in these electronic nightmares will necessitate a complete replacement of the entire device. This will place the owner in a dilemma …dealer and new part replacement or privateer and used part replacement. Either way the costs will be huge, one huger than the other.

Maybe I will have to ditch my old 2019 Android phone and update to Apple. I have been so ++++ android and anti-Apple for many years and for obvious reasons. Now I may have to bite the bullet as they say. Anyway well done once again.
