Frustrated with Harley Davidson's recall solution to my 2023 Street Glide CVO

I feel like there are enough warnings in the manual and whatnot that they shouldn't have to put a governor on the engines. I know there are very good reasons for a governor, IF you're a rider that has limited self control and know you ride too fast, but I feel like once you buy the machine and sign all the papers, it should be on the rider! Let me make the decision, not the manufacturer. Also, I ride a Dyna. They ALL wobble a bit haha. I call it the Dyna-Dance. I don't like it, but I pretty much know what speeds/wind-conditions to avoid. I've been triple digits and been fine, then a different day I'm at 75 and getting squirrelly. Keeps me on my toes and shakes the rust off the ol' Bug Smasher! Keep up the good work man!

Yeah I really don't get the idea of throwing a governor on there. I know on other models if you get a non-HD tuner you can remove that "safety" feature but then you have to deal with the warranty etc. I agree with Matt, that choice should be left to us as the end user, especially if you're buying a CVO model with a higher output, bigger engine.

Im over Harley tbh you can find cheaper bikes that are more reliable, just not worth it just to say you have a Harley.
