Harley Releases 135ci Crate Performance Engine! First Look 👀!

Jason Kehl of Harley-Davidson revealed the all-new 135 cubic inch Milwaukee-Eight crate performance engine! He did this while I was trackside for a day with the Harley King Of The Baggers Race Team pre-season. They were testing and tweaking the race bikes. The design of this new engine and many components were inspired by testing on the actual race bikes in prior seasons!

I really think the CVOs need a displacement boost if they’re going to put the 117 in so many other bikes. At least 124, but really the 131.

The slim jim piston will try to swivel in the bore, swivelling about the gudgeon pin, causing cata strophic failure.

Yamaha did that same bore/ increase stroke length.......they went from 80ci to 119ci , increase horse power 30(95), Tq 50ftlb(123) ..... Can you say whiplash Harley went from 883 to 1200 by increasing bore and they gained more hp than tq......if you've ridden Sportster 883 and 1200 you know the difference in power Harley went from 96 to 110 by changing bore size and the power increase was WOW.....well they did change everything to SE If you want increase in HP then you increase bore not stroke
