Temp difference is because of the change in air density. The SpYder reads the temperature close to the front end and uses a transducer which is more prone to error due to altitude changes. GPS is reading from multiple sources but it would be closer to the actual then the SpYder

Great video Chris. About your jacket. First off, anyone telling you that is the way they do zippers in Europe is either ill informed, or just coming up with something, or lie. First, let us debunk something. Europe is not a country, it is a continent.. The other Europe, The European Union, is also not a country, it is a zone of free trade and movement. And even if EU has a parliament that tries to make laws about what size strawberries have to be to legally be sold as strawberries, the EU will never be a United States of Europe because from Sweden and Finland in the north, Spain and Cyprus in the south, we are very very different in our ways, cultures, traditions, way of thinking. One should NEVER say, that is how they do in Europe, because even if people do one thing in Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain, does not mean that is how one do in Bulgaria or Sweden. Back to the zipper side, I would say, in most countries, and maybe all, we do just like in USA, where female pull the zipper on the left, and men on the right. In that sense, your jacket is a female zippered jacket. ig deal. Also, remember that in todays economies, many clothing items are sewn in asia, as well as a few other low cost countries. I have worked with production quality for 22 years, the last 6 of them in textile industry as the quality manager, including cut & sew processes. I know that failure happens, or delivery issues. It is very likely that the production process put a lady zipper on your jacket, perhaps on a whole batch of that size before anyone discovered it. And by then they might have had 80 jackets of size XL that was not reworkable because the seam allowance were already cut off. Instead of scrapping tens of thousands of dollars because of a left side zipper, someone with authority to do so, someone like me, would log the incident and let it pass under deviation approval. My guess here is the latter. I once bought a Ariat jacket at Boot Barn that had the same issue, it was definatly a mens jacket. Now, depending on what kind of zipper it is. It might be able to turn around. Someone good with sewing and zippers might be able to open the tab and switch the side for you. I would go to one of them local seamstresses and ask. Sometimes it cant be done, sometimes it is a 2 minute job. Sidenote. The modern style zipper was invented by a Swedish immigrant in America in 1909 called Gideon Sundbäck (means Sound, like the water between 2 pieces of land) and Bäck means smaller creek. It was patented in US in 1917.

Have you ever thought of a 360 camera? On a stable mounting it’s so much easier to do the editing and you can chose wich direction you will show the viewer. I have the first Insta 360 one R and for me that’s enough, but an X3 is on my want list.

Ironically I just shot a video in New Hampshire and mentioned possibly adding another camera at some point. I thought the 360 cameras would be harder to edit, but it sounds like I’m wrong.

I’ve shot my Spyder with the Insta360. I wouldn’t say it’s easier to do the editing, but it gives you much a larger choice of angles, as you can point the camera anywhere you want after the fact. (Although they have made advances in AI editing, the AI will pick the best shots and make them into a catchy montage, but I don’t think that would work video you are doing- where you are narrating as you go. Which is very effective. I’m really enjoying the material you are creating. My suggestion, if you upgrade into 360 is to make one pass where the Handlebar-mounted 360 camera is pointing forward and another where it’s pointing back at you. Synch those two tracks and back-and-forth. Not easier, but more visually engaging. For another level of interest, going to those sites that you drive by that you want to share with the viewer and the camera to look at them as you drive-by. I have a montagey version of what I’m talking about somewhere on my channel. (Although that one involves camera pole being used on different angles and in some cases handheld at low speeds. I will look for it and paste it in a comment. Keep up the good work. Really enjoy these videos and I think they keep getting better. Although I may be biased about these last two as some friends of mine and I are planning to ride from Pennsylvania to Old Forge and then up toward Vermont and over to New Hampshire…you are giving us ideas of things to look for and check out including ride up Whiteface. Thanks.
@@JoshHooper I’ve got four videos from New Hampshire scheduled in the next couple of weeks. Awesome rides.

Pedal commander gives you 96% capabilities instead of the 67% you have now…. (Supposedly)… so that would make passing a rip, compared to what you are used too… it still won’t be the same as a 1000 cc crotch rocket, but it would be closer…
