This is just my story of the use of my old Sykik TPMS system, verses what I think about my new purchase of the FOBo Tire pressure monitoring system.

So the screw on sensors don’t check the air pressure but the metal stems do sense the pressure and then the caps send it to your phone.? I guess I’m asking because if you can just screw on the caps to send it to your phone or do the metal valve stems sense the pressure?

Wouldn't the sensors act like wheel weights and throw off the tire balance,?

@@richgaulin3633 I can’t quite remember but the weight of each TMS sensing unit on top of the tire valve stem weighs around 3 g. And I really didn’t notice any out of balance wheel. So I guess what I am saying is, I wouldn’t worry about it or, I don’t worry about it or, I don’t feel it.

I have minder research on my Trike. I like the screen on yours better and the alarms iI might switch. Do you have to have metal stems?

@@newenglandbiker2220 yes I installed the metal stems about two years ago when I had the sykik system on the motorcycle. The Fubo came with three steel valves, stems in case you did not have steel valve stems already on. I have an iPhone 15 Pro. I think I’m going to like the Fobo better because it’s a large screen and I can check it as soon as I get on the bike.
