Does anyone make larger counterbalances to offset the increased vibration from the bore and stroke kit? What does the motor feel like with the OEM balancers?

I'm looking to go gear drive on my '99 Road King...not going this far, just want it rock solid so I don't have to worry about the tensioners...what's the biggest cams I can put in a stock 88" ?

Personally, I would stick with something like a .510 S&S if you’re main interests are reliability and drivability. Will make great power in a stock (ish) 88, sounds great, and still gets decent mileage, starts well, etc. You can go bigger, but with stock bore, heads etc, it’s not going to give you ideal results. They do not make any motors that will fit in the softail frame. Dyna's and Touring yes. Just did my fatboy to a hot 110. Twin Cam B motor. S&S do not even make engine cases that fit.
