The history of the motorcycle as such a generation of these horses, types of engines, filters, brake discs. 3. I have to disassemble to collect more than one mot. 4. I have to know in the modern market the latest achievements in the motorcycle industry, including in the equipment of protective clothing helmets... 5. I have to study "well, almost all the major motorcycles in the world" on my own experience to ride disassemble... 6. Collect customs and on your own experience to understand the differences of work after modifications... 7. I have 4-10 hours to regularly analyze and draw sketches of motorcycles, look for unique solutions... 8. I have to offer innovative, or know the absolute classics... 9. I need to know the moto-sub-culture from the inside... Clans, wars, the difference between tourists, cafes, etc... 10. After a very long practice of learning to ride, understanding the party, drawings... Then just collect to offer a motorcycle... 11. I must have a degree in mechanics and marketing...

Wasn't it Matt Laidlaw that first told the Motor Co. about this style trend happening in Southern California? I never liked the high bars, but the fairing on the ST does a good job of covering it up. The fairing on the ST looks a lot like the fairing used in Project Nova in 1981.

As a guy who's owned 7 HDs of all sizes over 4 decades this is a nice blend of my Limited and my Heritage Softail. The ST is nice but I still wouldn't want to tour on it compared to my Limited. I spent 14 hours straight on mine last summer headed out west and followed it up with multiple 10+ hour days in the saddle for the 10 day trip. Nothing like putting a ton of miles on a Harley!

I can dig it. I just bought an '01 FXDWG, my first Harley. I wanted a cruiser to go with the Triumph III. I am ready to trade both in for the ST. BUT!, the Finance manager from my dealer said they won't have any in the showroom. They are only available by request (You have to order one). Call your dealer and see if they say the same.

I’m thinking HD will hit a Homerun with the FXRST WHEN it arrives in April…I like the handling of the Lowrider and the FXRT/FXRP inspired fairing. I rode the original FXRP on duty 1989-1991…It was an awesome all around bike. I’m a West Coast guy, so this is right up our ally. I’m a 40+ year HD rider and the (light) weight to power ratio will be exceptional as well as the handling. Maybe us older guys can benefit from this platform…Just a thought… How about a Road King (Special) ST fairing version next year! “Live to ride…Ride to Live.”.

Its funny that they mention the inspiration for this new model coming from southern california cus when i saw this i was like wow, its perfect in basically every way, wouldnt you know it im from socal. And for many years i lived a block away from socal harley on pch. All the guys i used to ride with turned their dynas (and some softails) into that fxr-esque replica and now we have one from the factory.. however im not excited about the 22 grand msrp, also the fairing is a little too close to indians competition to the road glide.

So, I picked up a 2022 Lowrider S and Im stoked! I have an RWD fairing so I can make my own version of an ST. Has anyone out there done this yet? Looks like I’ll have to use a Street Bob HUD in place of my stock gauge. Its great to see HD making bikes like this. This is my first Harley after 31 previous bikes.

Would love to know more about the speaker system. Can you go more in depth with that (ie. how does it connect to your phone, how do you control volume, etc.). Also will it have an external adjustable pre-load like the FatBob and some other softtails have?

As with past bikes you need to add a seat with a passenger pillion, sissy bar, passenger back rest and lastly passenger peg or floorboard kits for their feat. There’s no package and everything will have to be bought separately but it’s all extremely easy to install yourself.

I do love the new Street Glide ST in Gun Ship Gray with the brass accents - That looks incredible. A little disappointed, was thinking about a CVO, but a little disappointed that there is nothing special about the engine anymore, i means in used in multiple other models now, was hoping to see an increase special 122 or 124" motor added to the 2022 CVO. A new CVO would have been a nice addition to my stable 2021 Street Glide 2014 Wide Glide 2009 Rocker C I guess maybe in 2023 I will get a CVO

@@RayfordRaySiegel I saw a fixed fairing kit for Road Kings but it was crazy expensive. No idea on the audio....I use a $25 bluetooth dongle velcroed in my helmet and wired headphones so I can take calls.

I don't know if it would work, if I could get a custom mount made, but I'd like to find out, if the time ever comes. You should check out Domio Moto, for the Bluetooth setup. I like that y’all are paying attention to the people but IMO I feel like you should’ve put the regular short bags from the street and roadglide, another issue would be the gauge guy’s, we want actual tach gauges I have the fxbb and I really dislike the dumb little LED digital gauge that’s on it . Maybe flush Mount the headlight would’ve been a better look as well but that’s just my opinion. I wish companies like Harley would gather regular people such as Laidlaw or blockhead that have an influence on the general public to critique your designs since they get first hand on what people want or don’t want, I feel designers are a lil biased towards their own designs, but aside from what I think I want that ST !

IMO I felt Harley Davidson lost their way just a little bit ...possibly took a little side adventure and lost something....I felt confused on where to look what to buy - I was not happy with what I saw and I was considering other brands but definitely not now - These bikes look legendary and I feel the buzz, the excitement about them, WOW they are back!!! I cant wait to get one - The hardest choice in front of me now, will it be a S or ST?

I was waiting to buy an updated sport glide 😢 Love the looks of that bike, the batwing, bags, wheels. Will be perfect with twin front brakes, triple tree mounted gauges, slightly taller shield with a bigger motor. But its a huge disappointment that the Sport Glide has been dropped.

Glasses fog up in a full face helmet.. 90 degree plastic elbow & silicon hose.. breath through tube & exits the bottom of your helmet.. And nose clip used for swimming stops you breathing through your nose forces you to breath in & out through the tube.. snorkel.. Also using forward controls & burning your inside right leg on the rear cylinder head , velcro or sow.. a cotton & silicone square hot pot mat-holder thingy on the inside of ya jeans so no one can see. easy fixes to problems yet solved.

The instrument cluster/gauge on the new low rider s should have been bluetooth enabled with GPS like that on the Sportster model. Love everything else about it, wonder if that's something that I can change out? Sometimes I need GPS, and I hate having my phone mounted as I like a clean/uncluttered look on my bike.

S or ST ? I think this is the most hardest choice ! Specially for the big city - metropolis riders. Why ? Most of people likes the way how looks the ST but couldn't ride the same bike like the S model. In one side is beautiful faring of ST, in other side is the better road and maneuver control with the S. It's not about the weight of bike , height and ergonomics of rider.It simply about the how you seeing the road and spaces between the vehicles on the city road. With ST fairing city ride is very difficult and not comfortable. I'm not talking about windshield -windscreen part of the fairing.I mean the location of this ST fairing which is unfortunately not fixed on handlebar.It's fixed to frame of bike as on touring models. An it adds more space between your handlebar and the windshield which clearly limits the road vision ! Same feel like in Japanese and European adventure bikes and I hate that !
