It’s actually crazy capable once modded like crazy. Fully built mine. Chassis is the only thing left stock. Performs better than my Scx10 pro that is mildly modified.

Loved watching both takes on the same Basecamp. Your fabrication is something else! But as I "make" stuff on CNC mills all day every day, with a bit of lathe production as well, I kind of shy away from fabrication at home. I even did 2/3 of a Govt car mechanic training course, ahem 50 years ago, when I was unemployed. In between times I did some brazing and also bought a Mig welder to repaired my own VW Beetle to get it through the UK MOT test. So I really appreciate what you did in the 24hrs!

I loved the 24 hour format, and the longer, all-in-one video. I watched it straight thru, no problem with good content like this. Try pulling an all nighter, I do that myself when I'm hot on a section of my builds. You might even get the body detailed!

I loved the Desert themed performance build, it did what it’s supposed to do in that configuration. I’m a fan of this format too, the 3/4-1hr wrap-up was one of the most enjoyable watches I’ve had in a long time. Keep up the amazing work @scalebuildersguild /guys!

I really liked your take on the truck as well as the build direction. There are so many rigs like this out there and honestly this is one of the first I’ve seen as a prerunner. Executed perfectly and let’s people know you can do more with a standard crawler.

That’s actually from Harbor Freight, I’ve had it about 10 years but you can still buy them now. Super cheap tool that is very handy.

Wow!!! That cage with the spare tires. Talk about stepping out of your box, finished product came out phenomenal!!! It was tough to see the changes at first but that just makes someone really look at everything you did. Love the smaller tires as well. Way to build something that no one really expected you to do!! Awesome job!! I am not a fan the vinyl choice but I get you were running out of time. Looking forward to the next one!

It also makes me want my garage wired for 220 even more now. Since moving to the new place, I haven't been able to use my TIG welder 😬

I would love to see you both mod out an IFS gate keeper or something of that nature . Or revamp an axial yeti score . I like race trucks and super scale builds a combination of the two would be cool

Really like the idea you had behind it! Honestly this setup would be much more efficient as a rock bouncer than the ryft and also a definite contender to other prerunner vehicle's on the market with SAS suspension. I like the green as it reminds me of the RTR honcho with real beadlocks and flatirons.
