The MEUS Racing Isokinetic axles (52 degree steering angle) would be amazing on this build
@HarleyDesignsInc11 ай бұрын
These axles get a very similar steering angle when you build your own tie rod. I’m already maxing my steering angle currently. If I want more, I’ll have to stand up the shocks or move them inward more.I like that these axles have better clearance as the center section is smaller.
@VermontScaleCustoms11 ай бұрын
Nice win! Couple of nice saves in there. Good driving all around. So, you have enough tooling to build cams for bending nice arced links for high clearance. Personally, I've been using a brake line bender. 2mm all-thread with 2 mm I.D. stainless tubing. I cut off enough at the ends with an Imp tubing cutter after the bends are done and thread on my ends. Slick AF. But, a guy like you with the resources you have, seems like maybe there's a sweet product line in the future that would have some higher end stuff for the 24 scale market. Maybe? Happy New Year to you and yours and thanks for all the laughs on Live Stream.
@HarleyDesignsInc11 ай бұрын
I do prefer solid material links compared to sleeved links but the bending process isn’t much different. For such small diameter links, if I was looking for a radius to be bent to, I’d like just 3d print some dies to work. Or I’d use the BAC industries mighty rod bender which comes with many different radius options. I use it for cage fabrication as well when using solid material.
