This belt is actually meant to attach to a velcro belt that is running through the loops on your pants the regular velcro belt is what holds your pants up this attaches to the outside. You then have your holster and all your rig setup on the G-Code belt itself. the velcro on the inside of the belt attaches to the velcro belt you're already wearing and goes on the outside of your Loops this belt is not designed to go through belt loops. And that's the purpose of the velcro on the inside of the G-Code belt is to attach the velcro belt you're already wearing. But quote if the month for me "Some tactical SWAT shit" love it!
@jasonmcphee87833 ай бұрын
you beat me to it. I have the Operators belt system, built up from individual components as a pistol rig and I cannot fault it. It is an outer belt made to mate with a velcro inner. No issues with G-Code at all. Belts, Holsters, Mag Carriers and Holsters. Love the RTI system, so easier to change out in seconds.
@603gts7 жыл бұрын
Ehhhhhh that's an external belt... It's meant to be worn externior to the inner Velcro belt. That belt doesn't go through your belt loops dude... I run a Ronin tactics warriors belt and it works the same way.
@HarleyWood237 жыл бұрын
+John Chen I thought the same thing when I bought it but this has loop Velcro on the inside. Inner belts also have loop Velcro, so this doesn’t mate with those. Their website says you can wear it as a primary belt inside your pant loops, or as an outer load-bearing belt like you mention. However they don’t offer an inner belt with hook Velcro that would mate up.
@davidwlee03515 жыл бұрын
John Chen it is meant to be worn with an inner belt, I wear mine daily with real jeans and it works great, he said it took him 15 min to set his belt on his pants with his carriers. He should just use a clip set up then. Lol
@gadsdenjim87858 жыл бұрын
You know You don't have to thread the final end through the belt loops, I just velcro it over the belt loops at the end instead of fighting it through with the velcro sticking to each other.
@Bulldogmm8 жыл бұрын
Easy fix just buy a Velcro belt. The G-Code will attach to it. That's how I use mine. I kind of thought that's how everyone did it.

Yep. I'm about to do a follow up video to this. I've since bought an inner Velcro belt and a battle belt that this interfaces with. Thanks for watching.

+THEBIGELK5150 wow. good eye. that's interesting. Either they changed the sizes on the site, or they sent me the wrong size. I know i ordered the one that was supposed to go from 36-40. I'm gonna have to find my order information.

Inner belt goes through loops. Outer belt mounts holsters, pouches, etc. and goes over the the inner belt without going through the belt loops. Source: product description in link. www.tacticalholsters.com/product/Contact_Series/GSG001.html Hope this works out better.
@HarleyWood239 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately that's not actually the same belt. If you notice, the one you posted has hook velcro on the inside of the outer belt. I have the EDC Operator's belt (link below). It comes with loop velcro, not hook. www.tacticalholsters.com/product/BELTS/ASB_175_Belt.html Some others commented as well though, and showed me some inner belt options, like from HSGI, that do mate up to this one. Thanks for watching and for the feedback.

look into getting an inner velcro belt to loop through your pants then simply place the gcode belt on top of the inner belt outside the pants belt loops.
@HarleyWood239 жыл бұрын
+Juice56107 there are some similar comments about this below. Unfortunately this belt comes with loop-velcro on the inside. Those belts you mention also come with loop-velcro, so unfortunately this won't mate to those. Thanks for watching and contributing.

Velcro to use the itch inner belt not for attachments. I don’t think belt is designed to feed through belt loops.

The British Army BDU trousers have belt loops that are button down, so you can attach a fully rigged belt and then button it in place. This belt might be more suited to that type of use.

Is the Cobra buckle a must have? If not, consider a The Wilderness Instructor Belt, probably one of the extra stitched belts. I've had them for 15 years and they're phenomenal.

Why is this video the only review of this belt??
@adamnichols27629 жыл бұрын
Yea, the belt problem is inherited by each and every one of us EDC people. Its kind of a double edged sword. If you want a comfortable belt, its not going to be strong enough for a OWB double-stack firearm, on the other hand, if you get a dense enough belt to handle that double stack, then you probably are going to be in the same boat as all of us cobra buckle lovers. They make a one inch buckle now that SOE uses and I absolutely love it, also check out the g-hook EDC belts they offer. If you really don't care if you have a cobra buckle or not, they are absolutely a great option. Forewarning, SOE has a 8-10 week hold on orders, but their products are well worth the wait. That is if you already have a EDC belt you use until that order is fulfilled. Hope this helps bro. Take care and keep those groups small my friend.

@scottydoo3302 жыл бұрын
This belt is not to be fed through your belt loops. This is a belt to attach to your hook or loop inner belt which does thread through your belt. This is meant for a quick throw on cuz the shyt hit the fan. You can also not have the inner hook or loop and just throw it over your every day belt. Just my opinion.
@4x4le8 жыл бұрын
i have the g code inner and outer belt which eleminates this problem but im not quite sure how the inner is supposed to be tensioned. it seems both too long and too short at the same time.

Yes, i looked into their belts also. I know they're kind of the go-to in the industry, but for whatever reason, i went with G-Code. I'm looking into the VTAC Battle Belt. That's probably next on my list of things to buy. Thanks for the suggestion.

"Tactical Swat Shit" .. Love it.. Yeah man, I had the same gripe about the Bashido tactical belts. I don't like the doubled up fabric on the right side, thats my strong side, I put my IWB holster in and adds so much thickness on the right side, so I have an 80 dollar belt I never wear. Lately just been using 5.11 belts.. Not as rigid, but I don't have to deal with all that overhead. Great review man, the struggle is real.

What is the Velcro in the inside do ? Also is there a steel core or polymer plastic piece inside the belt to make it rigid or just the triple stitching nylon?
@HarleyWood234 жыл бұрын
Keegan Jacobs It’s for affixing inside a padded battle belt or for use with Velcro holsters or pouches to keep them from sliding around the belt. There is no polymer or steel inside.

Cobra belt best when used in conjunction with an HSG Battle belt or other. EDC can be used but not without a little McGiver. Why not a Wilderness? Stiff with a small effective buckle closure with easy belt loop facilitating for daily clothing changes or holster/mag combo change outs.

thanks for the video. this is why I never bought a cobra buckle type EDC belt. I recently took a high-risk search warrant class and used a Jerry rigged battle belt I made and could have used a high-quality battle belt for sure. moving forward I think I will drop the whole battle belt setup and go with the new high threat tactical belt system with a hook and loop underbelt like the one I saw on the military arms channel. pricey but easy on and snug as a bug. all good things when doing a lot of training.

Do most of these guys not understand that this belt is NOT MEANT TO GOT THROUGH ANY BELT LOOPS. Its a load bearing belt and meant to be worn just around the waist. Was never meant to be looped. Suburban wanna be commandos. Read the description of the product. Its like a riggers' belt. You just wear it around your waist not through the loops. This is not the first time I've seen a review like this. THESE MEN HAVE NO IDEA WHAT OR HOW THESE BELTS ARE USED.

not really a need, but a "nice to have". 1) Bathroom breaks, the buckle keeps the belt on your pants, even with weight on the belt. 2) Need a break for a minute while your driving or seated or whatever, open the buckle discreetly, and re buckle later also discreetly. 3) once you find the sweet spot for tension, you don't need to undo everything, for a bathroom break just re-buckle and it's right back where you had it.
