I accidentally did that when I was a 14 year old waitress at a small town pizza place. My mom only kept Spic-n-Span under the sink to mop with. Never had any issues. My new boss said to mop the restaurant with the stuff under the sink, so that's what I mixed up. Bleach and ammonia. I learned really quickly that combo makes a deadly gas. We had to evacuate the restaurant until the fumes cleared. I've never made that mistake again.

Am I making sense at all? He demolished a whole house after experiencing intense paranormal activity but owns a museum filled with allegedly possessed objects. If the items were also possessed by evil spirits you’d think he would also destroy them or get rid of them out of similar fear.

I went to Zack’s museum several months ago with my boyfriend. We did their RIP experience (VIP) and were able to go into all of these rooms. One of the rooms had this house in it. We also saw the Dybuk box as well. On our way back to our hotel room our car started having electrical issues and the car locked us in at one point and wouldn’t lock when we got out. This has never happened before or after going to the museum. Going into our hotel room that night, we woke up in the middle of the night to our room door flung wide open. Neither of us had gone out after we both went to bed. Needless to say, we won’t be going back to the museum. But there were so many interesting artifacts in there.

I have to say the "hey" in the voice recording sounds more like the police officer sort of whispering "'kay" under his breath after taking a picture, more so then a ghost or demon. It even sounds like him and is at almost the same level as his voice. And saying okay after finishing a task isn't super unusual-I sometimes will say "okay" out loud after doing something, especially if I'm organizing my thoughts.

When Steph was getting hair-up over the religious stations being questioned by CPS, my thought was that it's not having religion that's the problem-- it's the quantity. It signals a fixation/obsession with the spiritual that often signals something bad. It could be something in the house, but it can also be mental illness. It's not CPS's place to hold an exorcism, it's their place to get the kids out of the environment regardless of which thing is wrong, and try to reunite them after the cause is found and resolved. Obsession with magical thinking or religious delusions in a parent in early childhood can cause intergenerational trauma, especially if it fixates on themes of guilt or gets in the way of physical or mental health care. Seen it in one side of my family, and glad they didn't have primary custody of me when I was that age. If be far worse off for it.

This particular case has always rubbed me the wrong way. I am a firm believer in the paranormal, and I can believe that there may have been strange events happening in the house. But there's just something about this case that screams "hysteria". I am highly suspicious of the mother. I think it's totally possible that she created an environment in the home that led to the children believing the house was haunted and that she more or less convinced them they were possessed. She gets hysterical about it, the kids freak out and also get hysterical about it, etc. No previous tenants experienced activity. And Zach Baggins is not a credible source because he's known to use theatrics to make things seem scarier than they really are, which to me, nullifies any credibility he could have as a true paranormal investigator. You did a great job presenting the case and I LOVE me some Harloween...but yeah, I've seen as much content about it as there is available to view/read and I've always been suspicious/skeptical about it.

@@eldupont3095 There are definitely things surrounding the case that are weird, for sure. That's why I'm so on the fence about it. I guess I don't really have an explanation for the other people who came out and said weird things happened but I mean...he wasn't murdered in the house, and there's really no way of knowing whether the daughter of the former tenant harmed herself or if something paranormal really did happen. In NO WAY am I saying that self harm is for attention. But in this *particular* case, I do have to wonder if it was showmanship of some kind, who knows what the motives may have been. Like I said...the phenomenon of mass hysteria is a really weird thing. We know this from the Salem witch trials. I don't know. Honestly, it's not like me to be so skeptical of such cases. Usually I believe them because I do believe in the paranormal. But I'm on the fence about this one and not sure what to believe.

I kind of agree with your thinking here. It’s possible the people living in the home truly believed there were demons, but that doesn’t mean there were really demons. And if there was positive reinforcement when the children ‘performed’ for their mom, it makes sense that they would perform so well in front of groups of people. I’d hate to assume that the children in this home were being abused, but it’s more likely than demon possession for sure.

The fly thing isn't weird at all, it's quite common and often cyclical. Your home is a fly's perfectly ideal place to lay eggs and winterize. A clean, dry, safe, temperature-controlled crevice is like a Hilton hotel penthouse to them. At some point eggs will hatch and stir everything up and BAM a bajillion flies in February minus the demon.

The oil was probably put on the blinds as an anointing oil..the doors and windows being prayed over with oil is common for priests and preacher's to do to pray out demons...that's why it wasn't dripping from the ceiling, it was not put on the ceiling obviously, olive oil stays and gets sticky..my mom used to use oil when she was praying...eventually it kinda looks like when nicotine stains the walls and drips down the walls..

they NEED to dig up that basement fully. I grew up in a house that always gave me the heebie jeebies, even as a 3 year old. The neighbours told me and my fmaily that there was always a lot of domestic abuse going on there and then one dya it just stopped, no one knew what happened to the wife. The room that creeped me out the most was the second loungreoom that it turns out was added on by the owner himself, with a solid concrete floor. I never went in there at night because best case scenario it just felt ominous, there was definitely some paranormal things that went on there and even guests picked up on that. When the house is finally torn down I wonder what will be found.

Salem witch trials…those girls sure kept the possession story up a long ass time. Even after people started dying, because of it. Although, I agree that there is a realm of the supernatural that can’t be explained, I do think these sorts of ideas can be contagious and cause people to start “experiencing” things that maybe aren’t real. Children might have an incentive to do these things because it brings them a lot of attention. I do believe this mother had no intention of malice or in tricking her children into believing false things. What I think is that she was fully convinced of it and this rubbed off on her kids. I’m sure some strange things happened, as witnessed by others. But maybe not ALL of it was entirely real. In my humble opinion.

The only thing in the story, and I mean the only thing, that gives me any kind of pause at all are the eyewitness reports. It seems very unlikely that so many different people would all report seeing the same thing. Especially professionals like CPS workers doctors and nurses. Everything else I could probably explain away, though the explanation may be kind of ugly. Side note, Zak Bagans is full of s***. All those ghost shows are total BS. It is a really good story though.
