Not bad, We sounded good that day 11 years ago. RIP Darryl "Malik" Offley on the far left in the grey sweeter, the rest of us are still singing. Our name has changed to Cover Story DooWop (long story) thanks for posting, and almost a million veiws,, love KZbin. I'm just seeing the comment below by Acapella Soul, after Malik Passed of Cancer around 2016 his brother Glen took over and wrote that comment, He has since passed away too about a year ago and acacella soul is no more. but Cover story and Acapella soul are the same group, with out the Offley brothers. miss those guys...

They are one of dozens of black guys who been friends for years and get together and sing back in the 70's when I was a kid I heard alot of this group singing because my father was in one. He even wrote a song for Smokey Robinson that was in the movie Cooley high. I'm in Chicago home of the chi lites.

They made it a non black thing, And it died down with Rock N Roll witch came from RnB umbrella term for black music, Rock N Roll being a black thing was commercialized for white audiences and the influx of British Rock N Roll gave way to popular music of today through a white washing cultural appropriation synthesis of anglo artists taking credit for black music, Witch leaves the question what is white music , what is british music pre Afro American influence as well as Amerikkaner music?

The brotha in the green hat has such a spectacular vocal range! Bass, Falsetto and at times it sounds almost Contralto! Amazing! I really don't think the majority of the people witnessing this performance realizes the talent and how rare a treat their witnessing! You have to have such a sense of timing, rhythm, and breath control and oh yeah, an awsome voice to match, all in one package! True talent speaks for itself! Good performance guys!

How can this get a thumbs down? This is the real deal Doo - Wop. The vocals are smooth - NO AUTOTUNE PEOPLE ! This is music not what we have today. This is era when songs were about Love, heartbreak & the beauty of life. Not today, today the music is about killing, stabbing, who got over on who. I wish music didnt evolve and we still had good music. Blessings to this group- you guys are amazing 🙌 🙌 🙌

I've played this several times, and I must say that they did a great job... Brings back the images of the Acapella groups on the corners in NYC presenting their art.. Great vocals!!!! Thank you!

Pure. True talent goes unrecognized. We’d rather idolize and give recognition to the ones they tell us to, the created ones, not the original naturals. Ah ‘Merica

That was the most beautiful, impassioned singing I've ever stumbled across. One wize soul stopped and let this powerful magic carry her home to a lost love. Towards the end he sang it for her alone cause she alone heard. My God that was beautiful. What a gift to us all.

This spectacular harmony and singing is one of the treasures of New York City. Talent that belongs in a Broadway theatre right there in the subway system. Kudos to the group. Hope they sell tons of cd’s!
