Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8 vs Aura Studio 3💥🔥 Sound comparison

Both sound great. The simple difference for everyone to understand is. The Aura is room filling, you can place it at the centre of a room and get awesome sound everywhere. The Onyx is more directional and sharp. Placing it in the corner of a room sounds best. Sound will vary depending on where you stand in the room.

Onyx has a backfiring woofer while the aura has a downfiring woofer. Placing the aura beside the onyx and at ear level cannot justify the bass it emits. One would have to place the aura on the floor and be at a higher position to experience its upward reflecting bass. I own both an aura 3 and an onyx 6. Both sound majestic. Just that the aura sounds overall more powerful, shakes the floor and its mids and vocals are much clearer than the onyx due to its dedicated transducers

Thanks for the review. I just bought an aura 3, it's $130 from HK directly. Not thrilled it is plug-in only, but I have others to compare to and that move around. Plan to use this solely with a vinyl player

@@deadpool-wp1eqNo, JBL Xtreme 3 for instance won't produce such smooth and deep bass as HK Onyx Studio 7&8 but it somewhat produces more robust, solid and veiled bass than HKs. The overall sound quality on HK speakers is better and smoother while you may notice that the bass on JBLs are somehow boomier, heavier and overall they're louder speakers in comparison.

Although Studio 8 sounds clearer and louder, I like studio 3 more because its sound is more punchy and deep.

I am listen this with onyx 7 Great video I prefer the onyx 8 it's not because i own the 7 but listening this with onyx 7 made me choicz the onyx 8

Aura seems to have better bass but the lack of portability and the non directive sound is an issue for me, the onyx 8 is easier to lug around but lacks overall volume and as an owner of the onyx 7, my main issue is battery life.

Diste en el clavo. Esa falta de portabilidad inhabilita el que Aura pueda colocarse en una mesa de centro. Porque ni modo que éste colgando el cable de alimentación. Así que la tendré que instalar cerca de una esquina. La tengo pero aún no la estreno. Es mi Aura 4 y espero buen resultado sin decepción..

The encore has higher overall volume but harman kardon speaker have unmatched deep bass, meaning at equal volume you will have better sound quality but for most people in a party, the party box encore would be better with higher volume overall. Translation : harman kardon for home use for quality of sound, party box... For party and dancing.

There's no comparison between the Onyx Studio 8 and Bose Soundlink Flex. The Studio 8 is much more powerful. It produces deeper, Punchy bass which can't be matched by Bose Flex because it's smaller. The bose is no doubt a great speaker but since it's small it can't match the powerful sound of the Onyx Studio 8
