I've heard both in a store and the 360 surrounding sound of the Aura overwhelmed the bb3's front facing sound.. nevertheless the bb3 is still a good speaker for outdoors usage but definitely go for the Aura if you are looking to enjoy every frequency at it's fullest.

Both are good,Aura studio 3 sounds softer and slower,BB3 sounds harder and faster,Aura studio is like a man in suit and tie,BB3 is like a muscle man,Aura studio is good at slow songs and for long time listening,BB3 is good at fast beat songs and for party.

Hard to tell which is better. BB 3 obviously more versatile and more powerfull but the Aura is 360 speaker, so the sound will pretty much the same from every angel.

Aura 3 is winner in sound department , hands down, JBL is for outdoors more so its louder, and a lot louder, and size is immportant to. For me personaly, i would take aura any day over jbl, they just pump harder and deeper, and more tight bass! and for outdoors, go jbl easy pick

Из за того что у Aura 3 высокочастотные динамики расположены по кругу (200 градусов) камера и ее микрофон не улавливают и половины звучания данного продукта. BB3 хорош, но тест не корректен, так как мы не можем понять через плоский динамик всю площадь звучания Aura 3. Aura 3 объемней, и басы глубже и мягче.

У aura 3 нету даже фазоинвертора, чтобы воспроизводить настоящий глубокий басс, из за этого саб резонирует и гудит на бассах, я это слышал, в то время, когда в BB3 для низов есть пассивные радиаторы, которые за счёт движения элебсойдного сабвуфера в BB3 воспроизводит басс намного глубже, чем aura 3, поверь, я много слышал aura 3, и я точно знаю, что говорю, сабвуферу в aura 3 не хватает выхода воздуха для воспроизведения глубоких бассов

хватит говорить, что басс в aura 3 намного лучше, сравнивать закрытый короб у aura 3 с коробом BB3 с двумя пассивными излучателями это глупо, понятное дело что у BB3 с двумя пассивными излучателями сабвуфер будет воспроизводить бассы намного глубже, чем если бы это делал один сабвуфер в aura 3

Nice comparison. There is no other comparison of the two in youtube. BB3 is great for fast music hiphop Rnb's. I have a Harman Go+Play mini and i play a lot of ballad and rnb's too.. but man this is where the Harman will shine. It will bring out the crisp instrumentals and acoustic sound. Maybe the Bb3 is for youngsters who play. But if u like oldies songs Harman is the choice👍

The JBL Boombox 3 stage is very bright, but the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3 gives a more muffled sound as if the concert is not in the square but somewhere far away from that area. Who wants to hear the concert in a field hundreds of meters away?

Im only a thing sure here. That aura 3 sounds so spacious, evenly spreading and throwing sound everywhere. Plus the design is not the typical speaker that when you look and hear you would definitely say “this speaker is making that rumbling bass😦?” As for bb3 no doubt that highs are 💯 plus the equalizer, but bb3’s bass for me is a bit too rugged sounding, too thumpy loosing the sound of elegance But still, considering the price difference. aura 3 cant be beat at that price

The BB3 definitely has better bass but I the overall sound is not good imo. I dislike the extreme V-shape sound JBL uses. The highs sound to bright and unnatural. I'm not a big HK fan either tbh but their speakers sound really relaxed in general which is also true here. A nice amount of bass, altough it could be deeper, and a nice, relaxed sound signature.

Me, id define it as crystal clear, and its exactly the sound signature ive always tried to get out of my speakers by fine tuning them (decreasing the knocking 120hz-240Hz-ish upper bass thats mainly responsible for the "boxy" sound that most sony speakers suffer from, [mainly in the past], as well as bringing vocals forward, while having the extra spark in the upper treble region. My boombox 3 absolutely excels in most genres that i actually listen to on the regular

Putang ina paano naging V shape Boombox 3!? Clearly the mids are way transparent!! The first gen is the true V shape because the mids really dies off and comes out into tweeters!! And the woofers almost producing purely bass like Subwoofer!! Boombox 3 is very different, it destroys pretty much everything from first Boombox!!

Maybe a factor is that Harman Aura is design differently. Its mid - high range drivers are placed around the its cabinet, thus firing indirectly to the recording device and create immersive sound instead.
