Diabetes can affect multiple organs which include kidneys, heart, brain, blood vessels and eyes. It can result in kidney failure, high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, glaucoma and even cataract. Delayed wound healing in the feet are also common in diabetic patients.
Good sugar control in diabetes can result in preventing the above complications.
