This is remarkable. Such clarity and poise. I admit I adore fast final movements of the Stravinsky. Hilary Hahn's is a miracle of virtuosity and power with a funky, fleet tempo but Isabelle Faust is a deep and probing artist and this is closer to quarter note = 120 which is Stravinsky's marking. The Vilde Frang must be heard too. It is extraordinary but for a reference recording of absolute perfection and probably how Stravinsky dreamed it, this is the one. BRAVO ALL! Beautifully filmed also.

Appreciation. The entire ensemble is quite good. I find it interesting that the young woman tips the violin downward toward her waist and her palm is fully on the upper bout. I admit her playing style appears to be very comfortable for her.
