Man! 6 years!!! Great groove, wonderful playing I love that you don't repeat yourself and come up with new moves advancing with the track. So glad you popped this in - I started getting into serious harp lovin, getting some models and custom tuning around 2017, watching videos of you and Shellist and few others which were already on YT, and I remember the video you were explaining about this tuning (Flat 10th, which is like Dorian Cross, but without lowering 3D to match 7D) - describing the extra bend and I think you mentioned an easier overdraw it has given you on hole 7 :) Keep up the spirit and inspiration, great harpin! Cheers! P.S. - I love playing with Elevated Jam Tracks, sometimes I recommend 1-2 to my local group after jamming :)

7 down a semi-tone gives you the flatted 7th in 2nd pos? Was that the only modified reed? I’m new to theory so pardon if this is an ignorant question.

Tuning the 7 draw down a semitone gives you the same note as the 6 overblow, which is a flat 3rd. So, you have to be careful not to confuse harmonica hole numbers with the number system used in music theory. Hope that helps! And , yes, the only modified reed is the 7 draw tuned down a semitone, but this is a customized harp from Joe Spiers, so it's set up really well. Thanks!
