There are 500 species. May pop, Passiflora Incarnata, I read that one was native as far North as Pennsylvania, the Cherokee used it and have a name for it. It will grow as far North as Chicago. Grows like mad in the Summer and dies back to the ground in the winter, pops up in May. Maybe Zone 8 or higher it doesn’t die back.

It's truly an amazing plant. Beautiful flowers, delicious fruit and provides this medicinal benefit too. Not only that but North American Maypop is a great host plant for caterpillars and provides nectar to bumblebees. I haven't found too many herbs that work well for me but passionflower absolutely works.

I have it growing over my chicken coops I eat the fruit in the fall, but what part DO U MAKE TINCTURES FROM?
@palmbeachbamboo58729 жыл бұрын
I love eating the fresh tips, but I avoid it in the afternoon if I have any tasks that require concentration. Sometimes creates a confused type state n- a,c,b,d order when doing tasks. I am going to try the tincture method for a sleep aid for my partner. Thanks for the advise. The fruit is wonderful if you can beat the bugs to it.

If it's causing a little bit of confusion or any kind of cognitive impairment whatsoever it means you're doing too much of it . The same thing happens with Tulsi even though it's a nootropic and makes you smarter and is brain food , too much of it will have the reverse effect and actually make a person have some memory and stupidity problems ! Also if you know anybody who suffers from Fear please have him take Tulsi because it does get rid of fear especially the kind that's all balled up in the solar plexus ... the stomach area . If you don't know about the NOOTROPICS EXPERT Channel you might want to check it out . If you go there please tell him I sent you as I refer everyone to him because he does his own research and works really hard to bring us the best and most detailed information . Many of the herbs from the ayurvedic canon of healing are there .

Just wondering how could I use it for my daughter who has absence seizures? She is 6 and I want to use a more natural way of treating this other then your typical pharmaceutical drug. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have a neurological disorder called myoclonus or my oclonic twitching and it is sort of like a form of mild epilepsy plus mild narcolepsy . In the past , I could easily sleep over 55 hours straight without waking up once and it really destroyed my life . My neurologist said my life would never be the same and was he ever wrong because he believes in that garbage from big pharma ( harm ya ) which cannot possibly heal because it's synthetic . Here's how I healed myself ... and you can heal your little girl naturally and it doesn't cost much .

You want to be looking at the ayurvedic herbs which have been used by the ancient Hindus going back thousands of years . Many of them you can get at almost any Indian Grocers ... and of course online . All of these are pretty much nootropics and I suggest you go to the NOOTROPICS EXPERT CHANNEL because this man works really hard , does his own research and is extremely thorough . ... it would mean a lot if you tell him I sent you because I tell everybody about his channel .

Please look at TULSI powder . You have to be careful with it because too much will actually give the exact opposite results and make a person mentally dull and slightly confused . It is also very good for getting rid of fear especially when people have fear all balled up in their solar plexus , the stomach region . Another good one is brahmi and the Hindus don't seem to distinguish between the two kinds of herbs they call brahmi but they are both brain food and helps me immensely with my neurological problems including extreme memory loss .

Probably the most important one is ASHWAGANDHA and its botanical name is SOMNIFERA WITHERIA . Make sure whenever you buy these products they are pure and do not have other things mixed in . This is said to be the only thing on the planet that grows new brain cells and so is good for people who have had a stroke and other neurological problems such as your neuromuscular diseases like muscular dystrophy . You're supposed to take it with a healthy fat such as milk especially raw organic milk but you don't have to but they also say You must add some ghee to it . I usually just do the ghee afterwards on a teaspoon so that I don't have a greasy cup to wash out .
