HarmonicDyne Helios Open-back Headphones Review The HarmonicDyne Helios is marketed as offering true high quality sound at a very affordable price, but it falls remarkably short of fulfilling that claim.

I own the Helios, the He4xx and I just gave my Jubilee 58x to the in-laws to listen to TV on. My 4xx is my gaming headset. The Helios permanently is connected to my AAA 789, along with my ELEX. I would agree that the mids are lacking, more so female vocal than male IMO. That said however, I like the staging and the bass on the Helios, they're also very comfortable to me.

I really enjoy my Helios headphones and I own a lot of different high end headphones. What is not said is that they respond extremely well to equalizer tweaks. Give them a V shaped eq curve and sit back and enjoy. A wide soundstage, great placement, natural sounding voices when equalize to your liking. Keep in mind that a headphone is only as good as whatever you plug it into and the likes and dislikes of the person listening to it.

It is a v-shaped headphone. It depends on individual taste. The review is biased.

These were advertised as "Engineered for acoustic accuracy".... A v-shaped signature is NOT accurate. So yes, this review was biased towards seeing if what the manufacturer claimed was true, and by your own admission of calling them "v-shaped", the "acoustic accuracy" claim simply is not true.
