Congratulations, Z! I'm surprised you didn't do a headphone sooner. I can't wait for the other reviewers to get their filthy measurement hands on them so they can understand you better. Maybe they can make a graph to compare other headphones to it! They will call it "The Z-Curve 2024" for all the bass heads.

as a guy thats on his 3-4th pair of bayerdynamics 770 80ohns/700 pro's, its already starting to flake again, they are built like shit and cant stand wear or summers (lesson learned i use koss during the summers now) -- I still might buy another 770 :D #madman, because i had my best ever wow moments to music listening to the 770 80 ohms, but they dont last, and cant be easily repaired, i do really like smarter built headphones

default 4.4 is pretty braindead for a $250 set that you want to sell to normal people

Yes but real normies only would be able to handle USB-C to their phone. Which means selling a cheapish DD Hi-Fi dongle that uses the 4.4. 3.5 is dead. You know this, I know this. I've had so many normal people ask me if they're Bluetooth. So unless I'm making a Bluetooth headphone I really am not aiming for that raycon earbud using crowd.
