I had a dream vision of Pythagoras pointing to various colors and when he pointed to each one, musical tones and shapes were created out of that color. As if it was some kind of synesthesia. Very strange, because that dream was before I was introduced to the Pythagorean mysteries.

Thanks for this. It is an excellent description of the secrets of music ~ Although Pythagorus explained the basis for trignometry, his theorem for color and sound is not well understood without studying the behaviour of waves. My friend, Joe, recommended a book to me called "In Search for the Miraculous, by Ouspenski" which explains that: as they accelerate the octave is formed and there is a shock in the middle, that slows down the vibrations by one half, forming the note Fa. Then they progress in the same way to the note, Do, one octave higher. These are the same notes heard in a bugle or an aolian harp.
