And yet when children are taken away "the system is destroying families." Clearly, Adam had demons yet two women said "yes, this is the man I want to be my baby's daddy." He had five kids but he couldn't take care of himself. His kids were his meal ticket. I think the question is what is a role of the state? Can't fix family dysfunction. A lot of people failed Harmony, starting with both her parents, the people who's job it was to protect her. RIP

You’d think a parent would feel a mental burden from sleeping under their decomposing child each night. Like a constant sensory stimulant, from the memory of what he did to Harmony, to smelling her everyday, to the image of what she looked like when she was put into the bag that he then carried her around in like luggage for weeks. All of these factors & Adam still isn’t impacted to let Harmony rest properly.

You guys don’t know NH prisons clearly . He will be in 23hr lockdown in the hole with maybe 1 hr a day exercise if the guards feel like it . There is no protective custody in NH. Just like Michael Addison the cop killer , he was in the hole for 20 YEARS before they let him into general population. Adam will get hurt if he’s in general population so he most likely will be in 23 hr lockdown for the rest of his life . There is no other options for him:

As an earlier response to your comment says, dead, she threatens his freedom. So NOW he has to really consider where she can be left and who can be around her. Alive, he would have cared only about the social security benefits he could get that were tied to her. Indeed, that's why Kayla was happy to pretend she was alive, because Kayla was pocketing Harmony's benefits money. And it was that callousness and greed on Kayla's part, that ended up catching Adam. Seems fitting. The Monster was caught because his wife was also a Monster. Oh, he must be furious about that. It was Kayla being so disgusting & not being able to resist this windfall that Adam "gifted" her, which gave the police leverage over her, and gave them Adam. This repulsive couple are the agent of each other's downfall.

As for Adam being required to appear, it is what it is. I heard something about shackles, so he probably thought he was too good for that. It is a cost-cutting turn of events: the special van, guard, and extra time for any acting, complaining and narcissistic drama. Refer to Lori V. case, her impulsive manipulation to use any loophole for exceptional treatment. It has to be disturbing to sit in the same room with a jovial pervert.

To think Harmony was given to Adam, he clearly had no love for Harmony, i think he saw her as monetary gain. Short of a "drag order" where he is literally forced to appear he is PRESUMED innocent & has the right to refuse to go to court, as every person would have the same right.
