Jenny, not only is your video an excellent guide for me but you also have a four-foot chain link fence as I do AND by coincidence, my home in the Central Highlands of Arizona (Prescott Valley) is ALSO Zone 7!

I am a facilities manager and these shrubs were planted next to a 900' long stockade fence and not maintained properly for 10 years and most of the neighbors did not like the shrub encroaching on there property. Eventually we had the shrubs removed to allow neighbors to replace their fence. But the plant is beautiful it just needs to be pruned regularly or it will get out of hand.

Yes, it does have a huge span, and if not maintained, will become large!

Thank you for helpful information. I have 1.5 acre yard, around 160 metres fence to cover up and I don't want to be with concrete or brigs. This Piracanta looks amazing.

You will love it Jenny so easy to grow and manipulate it, I have had one since early this year during all the snow I had and he’s rebounded and ready to go up the trellis I especially got for him for Christmas 🤣 🪴🌺🪴

Great video. This was one year ago, is there any chance you could upload the result ? I am thinking of doing something similar and I wonder if it will actually come out the way you say. I & surely many others would love to see the before/after.

Sad to say I've not kept up with it very well, but hope to tackle it this spring.

What a great idea! I’ve been trying to think of what to use to disguise a chain link fence at the bottom of my garden. The area gets afternoon sun, but is part of a wooded area that I am gradually trying to cultivate. It’s not visible from the house, so I sometimes forget to water plants during the summer. Several azaleas have perished there as a result. Is the pyracantha demanding of lots of care and attention to flourish?

Glad it was helpful! Hmmm, not sure, this is my first time. Let's learn together!

You're probably referring to the Cryptomeria japonica 'Radicans'. A lovely tree!

Hmmm, not sure about that. I've not heard that about pyracantha. I'll let you know if I get any fruit set this year.
