Glad to see my basement isn’t the only one full of Christmas stuff. I’ve been married for 47 years so like you I have accumulated a lot of stuff. I love a lot of lights at Christmas, both inside and out. I like the extra greenery you added on the fireplace garland. It makes a big difference.

@@HarmonyHillsHomeandGarden One tip I have liked is that I will label all the decor for each room I do. So instead of piling all my garland in one box hunting the lights. I keep all the decor for each room together and label what room it goes in. I usually dont change up much as far as the big stuff goes it matches the rooms usually.

Beautiful... I did cringe when the first nail went into the wood molding. Looking forward to Black Friday when my holiday decorating begins, no shopping will be done, only Christmas movies and a weekend of decorating. Happy Thanksgiving!

The good news is that the woodwork is painted already... so patching and painting won't really be a problem. If they were natural wood, I'd have definitely come up with a different plan.

Love the garlands, especially the mantle. I think I need to make a trip to Michaels. :) I have a stucco type fireplace and have trouble getting things to stick. Ill give the Command hooks a try. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Thankful for you and your videos!

Beautiful 🌱💚. I’ve always used coffee cup hooks screwed into the archway framework. I also enjoy supplementing cheap garland with bits of more expensive branches. Merry Christmas!

fluffing the greenery is so rough on the hands. They ususally are scratched and tore up for a week from all the fake needles. I think Im going to wear long sleeves and thin rubber gloves this year.
