Furthermore, they pretty much pull some songs from each Sonic game in the first movie. We had a piano rendition of Green Hill Zone in that one! It's no excuse for the studio to not have to use the game soundtrack. Especially Sega

I just want Sega to make the hat Canon then or maybe not right now they can just make it as a DLC because in Sonic's Superstars they made Sonic's prototype design feel the rabbit as a skin costume for the game. So there's a possibility ways that whatever they wanted to bring back the hat for Knuckles.
