I'm confused. When you had the Caribbeaners or set narrow you only rotated 180° and you did not seem to drop very far upon reinflation of the half collapse. When you had them set wide you made a full 720 and lost a lot more altitude. What did I miss? It would seem if the carabiners are close the glider only went 180° to recover from the half collapse. If they were wide it went $720° to recover from the half collapse. Is this a valid observation?
